CHARACTER EMOJI ASSOCIATION CHALLENGE β³ @trueloveistreacherousβ asked π
Hello, Have you thought of her today?
Little things Iβve noticed about the costume design in Encanto
In no particular order because I canβt put my thoughts into a cohesive line even if I triedβ¦
1. Colors
The original triplets have their own colours: Julieta - Teal, representing her powers of healing, Pepa - Yellow, because she always needs to be happy and not ruin the weather, Bruno - Green, because green can represent both good and evil
Pepaβs family are wearing yellow. Felix, who married into the family, also wears yellow but with his own touch of orange stripes. The children are wearing yellow for their mom and have stripes for their dad.
Agustinβs clothes are white and dark blue which compliment Julietaβs teal. Luisa is wearing white and dark blue like her father and Mirabel is wearing white top and a skirt that goes from teal to blue, a little from both parents.
The last one is Isabela who is wearing violet. A combination beween her familyβs blue colors and her grandmotherβs magenta dress, representing her falling into the role of the golden child of Abuela.
2. Mirabelβs dress
Mirabel has a little from everyone. Starting from the basic design that is a white top and blue skirt just like Luisa, her skirt has teal for her mother and blue like her father.
Now to the details. Her dress has a candle and is full of butterflies, representing the miracle; the butterfly on her shoulder is the same colour as the flower on her father. She has embroidered flowers for Isabela, has a cloud for Pepa and a leopard for Antonio.
3. Camilo
Camilo is wearing the colours of his family, but in contrast to all the men in the village who are wearing suits and shirts, Camilo is dressed like his tio Bruno.
4. Dolores
Dolores is wearing a cute red pattern with a red bow, two things that only one other family member has - Luisa.
5. Antonio
The little guy has a red scarf around his neck that is the same colour as his sisterβs necklace.
6. Isabela
At the end of the movie, when Isabela realises she can create more things than just roses, she changes her dress to dark blue - the colour of her father and Luisa, and she adds different colour patterns just like Mirabel.

Levels of Disney Princess love interests
This is just something cool I noticed in Disney Princess love interests
πππ―ππ₯ π- A relationship between the Princess and the male love interest is formed only because the two find each other beautiful and is not developed on screen at all
πππ―ππ₯ π- A relationship is formed between the Princess and the male love interest through adventure and the development of their feelings and romance is the primary goal of one or both of the characters
πππ―ππ₯ π-Β A relationship is formed between the Princess and the male love interest through adventure and the development of their feelings but romance not is the primary goal of either of the characters
(Rapunzel and Flynn are the best Disney couple fite me)
πππ―ππ₯ π- There is a prospect of the princess having a male love interest but she rejects it (and the movie focuses on a different kind of love)
πππ―ππ₯ π- There is no prospect for a male love interest for the Princess
πππ―ππ₯ π- There is no prospect for a male love interest for the Princess, but there is a prospect for a female love interest. However, this isnβt acted upon by the characters (yet)

That means that level 7 would be:
GAY DISNEY PRINCESS! WE DID IT FOLKS (I mean it a long shot but we can always hope right?)
Personally, outside of a gay disney princess, my fav level is level 3 cause that provides for the most character growth (when they are not focused on romance and it develops naturally) and the cutest relationships. That level also produces the best disney princes (Flynn, Naveen, Shang) because they are allowed to develop outside of being girl-crazy. I love how Frozen can fit into 3 of these categories too lol
