Ella deepened the kiss between them, pulling the girl closer to her. She missed Gina but she had to do what she had to do. But this was nice, kissing whoever this was.

“Believe me, it is quite boring. Which is why I think it’s time for a new job. Some place where there is  a lot going on. I’m not so sure.” 

“All that comes to mind is the cinema, honestly. Or the bowling alley.”

“I work in the mail room at the police station.” 

“Oh... yeah, sounds, um.. boring.”

“Happy New Year..” Travis grinned, also feeling the good spirit as well. “Can I get you a drink or something?”

“Why aren’t you a fan?”

“Nothing just thinking out loud is all.” 

“No, that’s me. I’m him. At least as far as I know? She doesn’t seem like the type to see more than one.” Though he hadn’t thought he was the type to cheat, at least anymore.  “But I did meet your parents.”
