Maggie finished up, she was able to get the guy down and they called it a day. Moving over to the bench, she reached for her bag that had her water bottle in it and took a long drink. Looking over at the redhead for a moment. She recognized her. Photos from Bethany’s room. Maxine. “You’re Maxine right?”

Maggie smiled when she kissed her forehead. “And I would do anything for you.” She pointed out, which was true. She would in a heartbeat. There was a smile on Maggie’s lips as she kissed her softly. Moving closer to her once she pulled closer. “And you do it so well.” She whispered. Which was true. “You do that just by being who you are, Bethany Cabot.”

Maggie would never try and replace Bella. That was the last thing that she wanted to do. “I just figured you were.” She shrugged a little bit, looking back over at her. “Oh, I do insist. Come on. I’m not keeping you from anything am I?” She questioned, wanting to make sure that Xanthe did want to hang out with her. If not she could find something else to do.

“Hey, so I figured I would drag you away from the boring day so far and offer you coffee and hanging out.” Maggie knew Brad’s birthday was coming up in a month or so. Plus maybe she was still trying to connect to her adoptive sister. 

“Good. Last thing I want to do is screw up this weekend and us.” Maggie was worried that would happen. Especially after Bethany found out how damage she was. “Thank you, baby.” She leaned more into her touch, kissing her palm once again. Honestly she was in deep with Bethany, her feelings were more than just liking the other girl. “You do make me happy, Beth. You have no idea how happy I am with you and just being around you. You matter more to me than what you realize. You are my light in the darkness.”

“Never especially about that.” She softly. Her arms moving around Bethany. “Good cause last thing I want to do is ruin this weekend.” She told her softly. “I want to open up to you about well everything and I plan on doing that. Just give me some time?” She kissed her back softly. “And I care a lot about you, Beth. I can also see falling in love with you too. I want to make you happy. That is what matters to me. Your happiness.” She admitted.

“And you are perfect for me.” She told her softly, leaning into her touch. Moving her head to kiss the inside of her palm. “I can answer that if you really want but I don’t want to ruin your birthday or our weekend.” She was glad that Bethany would be careful. “That means a lot to me, Bethany. You have no idea.”

“Trust me I’m not perfect. But I try for you. And you aren’t making me up, I promise you this.” She grinned, leaning her forehead against hers. “If you want to, we will. Go slow and stuff because you are my first.” She admitted softly. Outside of what happened while she was ‘missing’, Bethany would be the first that she actually wanted something to happen with.

Maggie hugged her back, smiling. Honestly after everything, Maggie felt like the lucky one to have Bethany. “Good cause there is no one else that I want to be with.” That was true on any day of the week. She would much rather spend her time with Bethany. “I know. I just wanted you know that nothing is going to happen unless you want it to.” Of course she understood it.

“Yeah, we can call it that.” She wanted it to remain a mystery seeing as it was her girlfriend’s birthday and she had a few surprises for the brunette. “I want to know that there is no pressure for anything to happen tonight or the whole weekend. Okay? Stress and pressure few. Just your girlfriend wanting to spend time with you.”

“I do insist.” She smiled against her lips as she kissed her once again. Pulling away slightly. “I do try. Come on, you might want to pack an overnight bag.” Maggie was planning on celebrating with her because Bethany was amazing and she deserve it. “Actually pack a bag for the whole weekend cause I’m not letting you come until Monday.”

“Come on, you are coming out with me today. I’ve got a couple of surprises for you actually.” Maggie took Bethany’s hand, pulling her close. Kissing her softly before pulling away slightly. “Happy Birthday, love.” She smiled. “Come on, let me sweep you away for the day and night.”

“Okay, good. Cause I don’t mind keeping us on the down low until you are ready to tell them.” She smiled once again. “That we can. If anything one of us gets a flat and the other is just there all the time an takes up half of the closet space.” The brunette suggested. It didn’t bother Maggie what Bethany did for a living. It really didn’t. “Whatever you want to do I am fine with.” She leaned up and kissed her softly on the lips.

“Yeah, I figured that they will at least stop us from sleeping in the same room. But when you tell them I will be right there by your side.” Maggie told her and she meant it. “I don’t know if it is or not.” She told her, before leaning into her touch. The brunette honestly liked the thought of moving in with Bethany.

She smiled, closing her eyes for a moment when Bethany kissed her palm. Looking back towards her again. “At your parents place? I’m sure they would love that.” She thought about it for a moment. “We could always get a small place or something?”
