Is homosexuality a sin? Yes, it says so. Right there. Black and white. God intended for his people to be partnered; a man with a woman. I you disagree, then you are trying not to abandon your salvation but also give into the desires of the flesh. Read almost anything by Paul, he explains. You may disagree and thats okay. HOWEVER, no where in the bible does it say to hate gays, or anyone for that matter. In fact the bible is very clear, love everyone. Your neighbor, your enemy anyone and everyone. Jesus calls us to respect others peoples beliefs even if we believe they are wrong. It seems very passive aggressive to try and legally block gay couples from getting married. If you were concerned about them treat them with love and show them that the path you lead will lead to a more fulfilling life. All this sanctity of marriage stuff is stupid. There are many other things that have been ruining marriage for decades, and they remained unattached, so don’t even try and use that excuse. If it bothers you that much then just do your best to follow jesus and love them.

You’re not any better than the rest of us.

I’ve being scrolling through such wonderful tags as “cishet” and “I hate cis people” this fine evening and I would like to say something if I may, as a heterosexual, cisgendered , white female. I’ve never oppressed anyone in my life. I’m not homophobic or trans phobic or anything and I wouldn’t dream of hating on someone because they’re different or part of a minority. I am, however, rather tired of being made to feel like I am an awful human being simply because I don’t happen to be part of a minority. If I said something like “I hate trans people they’re so stupid ugh” then you would be all over me for it so why do you lot seem to think its acceptable when the positions are reversed? Don’t give me the bullshit about how we all oppress you and everyone hates you it’s a load of crap seriously get the fuck over yourselves. What you’re doing is generalising and stereotyping but you complain when people judge you for who you are? Just because I don’t happen to have the disadvantages you have doesn’t mean you get to call me shit ok? I may have privilege but I just got lucky. You’re just bitter so please think before you speak even on tumblr because people’s feelings can get hurt when you’re rude to them rather than calmly explaining to them why you think they’re wrong or whatever.
