when I told myself in june 2025 that I was probably going to write the entire next chapter of ibvs before the end of summer, I had no idea that I was going to be hit with an enormous sledgehammer of creative amnesia and forget what the story was supposed to be about and how to write my own characters. let it be known that I've finally remembered how this story works and I actually wrote 1500 words these past few days and it took me making an anniversary print, rereading a huge chunk of the story and looking through all the fanart I've ever reblogged of it in chronological order. I also think that watching toilet-bound hanako-kun helped somehow
