May I ask, what is the difference between the air signs?
All of the air signs are ruled by the mind. They are intellectual, social, can all have a certain degree of emotional detachment, and they can all be communicative.
But the sign that is the most communicative out of all the air signs is Gemini. Not only can they be the most talkative person in the room but they are good at receiving and relaying messages. It is rare that a Gemini’s message gets misinterpreted. They are associated with gossip and has a need to share stories and information. But a positive, mature Gemini will just be awful at keeping their own secrets but can still hold onto other people’s secrets. A Gemini can even become stimulated by good and/or intense conversations. When it comes to the bedroom they might get turned on more with sexting, dirty talking, and phone sex than actual touch. They also naturally are in tune with social media. But Gemini though a great communicator has issues with expressing and understanding their own emotions. If a Gemini does become misunderstood it is a lack of identifying and sharing their feelings in a clear way.
The Air sign that is the best at understanding and relaying their emotions is Libra. This sign can be aloof but they usually become distant for a reason. Either they are hiding something, trying to figure something out internally, is preoccupied, or they just need some “me” time. Libra is ruled by the mind but out of Aquarius and Gemini they are the warmest and is moved more by their passions and feelings and can express them well.
Aquarius comes in the win for being out of touch with their emotions, deep side, wants and needs. It is almost as if they don’t have emotions, but they do. Aquarius is a very objective being and a lot of times they push their emotions away believing that their mind knows better. Gemini and Aquarius can commonly connect through this aspect and can explore their deeper side together. Libra can also help Aquarius and/or Gemini get in touch more with their feelings.
Aquarius is associated with technology and usually in an innovative way. They are also associated with chaos, rebellion, revolution, protest, Utopia and radical ideas. Gemini is associated with debate, academia, collecting information, puzzles, riddles, and investigating. Libra is associated with art, culture, balance, unbiased nature, and justice.
Gemini has a need to connect with others and wants to be understood but the trick is others find them hard to understand because they can sometimes not understand themselves and they are also very changeable. Gemini is an independent sign and is okay being alone as long as their mind can be stimulated. When their mind is left empty or dull they can get restless, lonely, or depressed. Libra is highly social and has a huge need to always be around people. This is the sign that can suffer from separation anxiety, they hate to be alone, and might stand for being in bad company just for the company. Aquarius is considered to be the most independent sign. They don’t mind being alone and sometimes requires it from time to time. They are good with people and likes to be in groups but can struggle with one-on-one time. Aquarius is known to have issues with intimacy. While they are okay with being alone they can commonly feel left out, alone, or misunderstood. Gemini has a life quest to explore their inner self, Libra has a need to learn independence and how to be content with just themselves, and Aquarius has to push themselves into connecting with others.
The air signs do not have animals as symbols. While the other signs represent more natural things like Leo with the sun, Cancer the ocean, etc. The air signs represent connections among people. Aquarius is associated with friendship and fellowship, Libra is associated with marriage, partnerships, and teamwork, and Gemini is associated with siblings, cousins, rivalry, but also the brotherly or sisterly bond.
Aquarius easily gets preoccupied with their hobbies, causes, and work. Gemini easily gets preoccupied with people, and Libra gets preoccupied with escapism.
Aquarius can be associated with visions, inventing, and new ideas. Gemini is associated more with the collecting and dispersing of ideas as well as learning, Libra can be associated with dreams and more abstract parts of the mind.
