His love for us is so strong that He will protect us from anything and everything that is not for our good and for His glory; therefore, be assured that we are safe and secure, in Him.

Deuteronomy 33:12 saus, "The LORD’s beloved rests securely on Him. He shields him all day long, and he rests between His shoulders."

Your characters are allowed to be bad people. Your story is allowed to have no moral lesson.yyour ending is allowed to be sad. The villain can win. The good person can do something unforgivable. The lovers can destroy each other. You are allowed to write the thing that no one asked for and everything that everyone told you doesn’t work and you are allowed to not explain yourself.

⊹ How do they treat people who can't do anything for them? Waitstaff? strangers? people they'll never see again? this is the oldest trick in the book for a reason. It works. How someone behaves toward people with no social utility tells you everything about their actual values versus the values they perform for an audience.

⊹ What's their relationship with their own body? Are they comfortable in it or is it something they carry around like a problem? do they take up space or make themselves small? are they aware of how they look or completely indifferent? Physicality is psychology and most writers forget the body entirely until someone needs to throw a punch.

⊹ What do they lie about and why. Not dramatic plot lies necessarily. the small everyday ones. the things they exaggerate or omit or reframe. Because people don't lie randomly, they lie to protect something. Find what your character is protecting and you'll find what they're afraid of. That fear is the ENGINE!!

⊹ Who did they used to be? not their whole backstory. just: who were they before the thing that changed them. because that person is still in there somewhere, showing up in small ways, wanting things the current version of them would never admit to. The ghost of a former self is one of the most interesting things you can write into a character without ever stating it directly.

⊹ What would make them walk away?? from the goal. from the relationship. from the person they're trying to be. everyone has a breaking point and it should be specific to them, and please not a generic "too much" but the exact thing, the particular betrayal or loss or realisation that would finally be enough. know this even if the story never reaches it.

EXODUS 12:7,13 And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.

The Egyptians had no protection from the destroyer, but the people of Israel who put the blood of a lamb on their dwellings were safe.

The blood represented the Blood of the Lamb, slain from the foundation of the world -- Jesus Christ (Revelation 13:8)..

The blood applied stopped the destroyer. With the blood on the door of the Israelites in Egypt, no evil dared enter their dwelling. Christ is our Passover Lamb. Likewise, we are kept safe through the protection of the divine Blood of Jesus.

Bill really helped her and it shows that he cares about her in his own chaotic way that he wants to murder the teacher on Mabel’s behalf. Before, he wouldn’t have cared about his friends’ pain or trauma unless it benefited him, now it’s like if someone makes Mabel sad, they’re on Bill’s black list.

And also, for a second I thought Bill would remember his own history in school when he used to cheat and copy to get away with things. Kind of like a parallel between him and Mabel: she’s sad because her hard work is labeled cheating and Bill’s mad because teachers call him out for cheating instead of being fooled by him.

Mabel told half the story in ch 89, and Bill brought up his own school history then.

So they already had their "we were both accused of cheating" moment. Ch 115 is all about Mabel's experience.

Father, it’s so simple to become distracted by everyday concerns. According to Your Word, You bless people who work toward peace. Please empower me to pursue harmony with each of my family members. Holy Spirit, give me the ability to maintain that peace with them through difficulties.

The word of God-

It makes us wise . 2 Timothy 3:15: ...the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation.

It directs our lives. Psalm 119:105: Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.

It keeps us from sinning.

Psalm 119:11: I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.

It guarantees our success.

Joshua 1:8: ...meditate on the scripture day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

It prepares us for God’s plan for our lives.

2 Timothy 3:16-17: All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."

God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape...1 Corinthians 10:13

But what happens when we refuse to take the help? Eventually, our strength fails, and we give in to temptation. That’s what happened to David. He allowed temptation to fill his mind and dictate his actions, which led to adultery and the murder of Uriah. Like David, we may consider the choices we make as relatively harmless. But later, after we’ve succumbed to temptation, we will regret. God says, “Stop! Turn around, confess your sins and start afresh.”
