I know the majority of you don’t know me on a personal but I’ve decided to share this anyways. Last night I encountered this wonderful woman. We conversed for the majority of the night and wow, I find out she’s just like I am. Anyhow, she ends up leaving around 1:00am. I crawl back into the pub and continue to listen to the Jazz band that’s been playing the night away. I see my ex girlfriend who has told me earlier that she was leaving. I give her a questionable look to why she’s still here. She walks me outside and we have a chat. She didn’t have a ride home as she told me she missed her bus. I tell her that I’d drive her home. I still care for her at this point, I want her to get home safely. We leave and she asks me if we can stop for McDonalds on the way home, I agree and we go. On the way, I get a text from the girl I met earlier and from what she told me about herself, It’s hard to believe that someone just like me has fallen into my life. I take this opportunity to pull over and message her back. The ex starts questioning my actions on why I pulled over to text and to whom it was. I told her as I thought she really wouldn’t mind since we’ve been broken up for a while now. She starts getting angry at me and says I was doing it out of spite. Personally, I would never cause any mental stress to anybody. I continue driving and about 3 minutes in, she still hasn’t given up. I tell her that I wouldn’t do such things but she insists that I’m just the worst person to ever exist. I get fed up and need to cool off at this point. I pull over and take a breather. She still hasn’t stopped ragging on me. I couldn’t take it anymore. I’ve asked her over and over to stop but she keeps on yelling at me. I told her to please get out of my car and just walk home as it was only a couple minutes away. I couldn’t take it. She’s still yelling at this point and denied my request. I continue to drive and literally a couple seconds in, she starts calling my family out. She has only met them once and never wanted to come back. My family is pretty nice I’d say, but they never really conversed in the first place. I end up slamming on the breaks and pull into a bus loop. I’m furious at this point. I light a smoke and turn up my music a bit more, to try and relax. She’s touching all of my buttons on the console trying to find the volume. She tells me, if I don’t turn it down, she will punch me. So she throws about 6 punches right onto the right side of my face. I let her get a few in. After about the 6th, I grab her hands to stop her. She leans against the passenger side door and starts kicking me in the face with her high heels on. I end up leaving the car and break down on the side of the road. She comes out and starts ragging on me again about my family and me. How I’m childish and pathetic. I try to get back into the car and she gets into the passenger side. She still wont stop. I get out once again and she follows. I go to her door hoping I can lock it so she cant get in. She gets in my way and I end up pushing her away. I lock the door and get into the car and drive away. Scenarios like this I’ve always wanted to avoid. I hate conflict, I always have. I’m the one who always wants to talk about things, never fight over it. It’s hard to explain some things without going too deep into detail. Why was she jealous? Are you actually an asshole in real life? Like I said at the beginning, the majority of you don’t know me on a personal level and that’s fine. These pictures were taken about 20 hours after it had occurred. I do have other scarring and bruising but it’s not much to be the main spotlight. They’re not brutal wounds or anything. I just wanted to show everyone that not all guys are the assholes.
