Anamnesis [Part One] wins best short!

The Chicago International Film Festival (CSIFF) awarded ‘Anamnesis [Part One]’ ‘best short doc’ this month and earlier this month the film was awarded the National Board of Review’s Student Award 2021..which I have to say, was nice.

Remembering the trauma of my best friends death does not come easily, and sometimes, not at all. Memory is fickle at the best of times. In my film using found footage I retell the past trauma of a childhood tragedy, but find myself ambushed by my own heart, spinning a yarn of white lies and omission. https://vimeo.com/496507734
