I'm going to mention a fanfic per fandom because I think I wouldn't be able to just choose one!

Even though my favorite ship in tokyorev is rinzu, my favorite fanfic isn't actually a rinzu one! It's this Mucho Lives AU by @/dreyars. I read it back in the day while it was still in publishing and I remember sending audios to a friend crying 😭 It's so good! The author nowadays isn't in the fandom but her work will always have a huge place in my heart

For jjk of course my favorite fic is moonlight in the river by @/eviebabie, a western sukufushi fic. I'm not kidding when I say this fic had me on the verge of my sit for all the weeks I was reading it, and that I cried the most I ever did with fanfiction. Everything about it is amazing

I'm a huge fan of akiangel, from chainsaw man. This Devil is Too Sublime by @/Starship_Phoenix is my favorite fic for this ship and fandom. It might be just a small oneshot, but the atmosphere and religious imagery is peak. In fact, every akiangel oneshot by this author is amazing

For my first anime ship ever, my beloved mattmello or mellodramattic I have to mention crush by @/etorphine. This is the official ship bible according to me™. I cried lots with the ending and the topics are touched with such sensibility and knowledge, it made my jaw drop. I love when an author knows what they're talking about and this is the better example of that. I also love crime focused novels for—obvious reasons, and I have to say this one is perfect

The other day I was talking with a friend about eruri, one of my favorite aot ships. I recommended her Krakóv by @/calacreda, a dark ackerbond organize crime AU. I never finished reading it, and I should start from scratch and finish it, but I still want to mention it here because it's an amazing fic. It's also a long ass fic, and I love long ass fics, as you've probably noticed already

I've been using the mark for later option to save some tamjin fics (gachiakuta). I haven't read enough to say I have some recommendations or favorites, but I will have them in the future. And I also should navigate the Witch Hat Atelier tag because I love orufrey... But yeah, those above are my favorite fics!

My lore is the type of shit I have to constantly remember because I just can't allow myself to have low self esteem with the amount of shit I've been into last years 😭 I'm so proud of myself and the people who surrounded me during certain times and I never met anyone who got so far in certain fields

Something I never shared on the internet is that I spoke in my province's parliament! I'm not going to mention the reasons or even the topic because it would probably be easy to track me and my name, so I will just say I did it and that's it. I got some cool pictures of me and my friends the press took! And I still have the newspaper because they put a pic of me

Both Rindou and Sanzu are canonically the same height. I love picturing them fighting and saying "No, I'm taller!" "No, I am taller than you!" they're dumb

This isn't exactly a ship: sometimes I like to picture Sanzu wearing decora inspired fashion. With lots of clips in his hair and silly hairstyles. So cute :')

I hate AI

I think no one has the capacity to hurt me with their words right now because I am my own person and only my opinion about myself matters. No one is going to make me feel less than I am, I know myself better than anyone else because I'm the one living in my body and head. You could say whatever and it won't affect me the slightest. Also, when you're older, you just let people be wrong about you, because who's this person to say anything?

I think society purposefully teaches teenagers to hate different/weird people and pushes bullying as a tool, because different/weird people are a danger to the system. A teen who starts to dressing unconventionally will be a dangerous adult in their eyes, because the moment you start giving a fuck about societal expectations you're a person who's not going to feed the system. Think about how plastic surgery is being pushed towards young people. You're a danger to their stupid industry. And nowadays almost everything is an industry

I think being yourself and loving yourself, given the circumstances, is a political act rather than just a simple mental health situation

Crime appeared and disappeared in the form of small organizations that didn’t last long. The news was constantly announcing successive police victories, as if it were a war of attrition and that was their puritanical propaganda in the middle of a battlefield. They said they would build a country where it wasn’t possible to live off crime, that they had let the yakuza meddle in too much and that they couldn’t allow it anymore.

He had no opinion. To tell the truth, he didn't want to know anything about it; he was content to live another day and fight the crimson-splattered thoughts in his head.

"Bonten isn't the only one who's figured out the trick."

"Leaving the old yakuza values ​​behind to survive wasn't even our idea, actually. We're not the first to do it," Sanzu continued. "It was Izana Kurokawa's idea."

Rindou stifled the biggest sigh in the world.

"Kurokawa's Tenjiku wasn't like the ideal Tōman Sano wanted. In another world, if they had won that fight, they would have dominated all of Honshu. His brother” he spat it out as if having it in his mouth was unpleasant “took over, and a couple of years later, we have Bonten.”

“Some groups that eyed Tenjiku with suspicion realized what they were doing,” Sanzu explained, getting straight to the point. “Destroying everything, to hell with family and traditional values, conquest is what matters. “Are those guys from before among those few?” Rindou ran his fingers along the bark of a cypress tree, admiring its towering canopy.

“And until Bonten manages to take over all of Japan, this era will be filled with chaos.” He waved the stick again and slammed it against the ground to try and shake off a cobweb. He ended up abandoning it there and looked over his shoulder. “Including Bonten, there are four relatively large organizations left. You just met the Yamada Gumi. They’ve been a pain in the ass for seven generations and refuse to disappear even after their leader’s arrest two years ago. They’re too well established.”

“…that’s a very fitting name,” he noted, the kanji for mountain not going unnoticed. Technically, they were near Mount Nantai.

“They come from Fukushima, and we’ve been fighting them for years for control of Tochigi and Gunma prefectures.” Sanzu clicked his tongue. “They’re a nuisance.”

Rindou had a revelation.

It was a fleeting moment, the feeling that he'd connected a couple of dots, perhaps that's why Sanzu had looked at him so intensely for a second. He hadn't had any idea about the situation, not because he hadn't asked, or because he'd been a depressed bum battling alcohol and his own family these past few weeks.

Despite working so closely with Bonten, as an executioner, knowing certain things wasn't really necessary. Knowledge was dangerous when it came to internal politics. If Sanzu had said they were still fighting for Tochigi and Gunma, that meant they'd never had Kanto. Neither Bonten, nor the Kanto Manji.

Knowledge could shift loyalties, could be used as a bargaining chip and an emotional hostage. If there were other groups stronger and more established than them, the mere fact of knowing about their hostile relationships could pose a danger to Bonten itself. Sanzu was trusting him.

"What about the other two?" he asked, curious.

"You'll meet them eventually."

Every type of comment is good and makes me really happy but of course my favorites are those big ass chunks of paragraphs some of you write everytime I post a chapter :') it makes me emotional see how people love the fic to the point of being so attentive to details and describing how it made them feel. There's some comments that have legit made me cry

This is like the most asked question when I'm getting to know someone on the internet and I even explained it it recently to a friend. Depends on the language you're reading me, you might know me as Iskari_Meyer or just meyers

Iskari comes from a novel of the same name, written by Kristen Ciccarelli. I read it when I was in high school and I always loved that name, which isn't exactly a name, but a title in the story. It's the title of the protagonist, whose real name is Asha. In this world, storytelling is strictly forbidden, since it attracts dragons. It's a fantasy book with a little bit of romance you can read in like two days. I loved that book and sometimes I take a look at it

Meyer appeared because I needed like a surname. Idk, I wanted to make it cool so I took a random book from my shelves and started looking for surnames. I found that one. In ao3 I use meyers because it sounds better like that when goes alone...

For tumblr, nevermeyers. That never- part comes from a book called Nevernight! Written by Jay Kristoff. Sometimes I use Yukiko, the name of the protagonist of Stormdancer, one of his books, as username in videogames and random stuff
