"That does leave the question of what to do with her." Nikita leaned back in his seat. "From a legal standpoint, we would deport her back to Snezhnaya with a formal complaint regarding her actions."

"That can't be all we can do!" Illuga protested. Nikita crossed his arms.

"This is Nod-Krai. There's no official system of law and enforcement. With the new cooperation between the factions, the best we could do would be to possibly instate an exile and ban her from the territory."

"But who knows how Snezhnaya will handle her, or if they'll do anything at all?" the Traveler pointed out. "She could continue to do harm elsewhere, or sneak her way back."

"That's true," Nikita answered. "But the relationship between here and Snezhnaya is already tenuous. Given she is a citizen of there, they may use the opportunity to kick up a fuss if we attempt to handle it independently."

"They are known to do that," The Traveler muttered, "regardless of if they actually care."

"We can't risk a diplomatic incident" Nikita continued. "Even trying to push for a say in the final judgment could lead to them demanding everyone involved come to Snezhnaya to testify."

"Which I would rather not do," Flins commented. Nikita nodded.

I think I mentioned I'd post this after referencing it in "A Ratnik is Never Alone." My very casual list regarding the "fun juice" situation.

Up top we have various nonhuman or long-lived humans who are a bit fuzzy on the details of what age a human should be drinking. (In Flins' case, the answer to a drinking age is basically, "You're in Nod-Krai.")

Trying to figure out who was drinking age was kind of hard given we have like no canon ages nor a canon drinking age in the different nations. Anyway I stand firm that IF Nod-Krai has a drinking age it is VERY loosely enforced.

Also shoutout to Nefer for canonically giving the Traveler alcohol. Maybe I should have put her in the "doesn't bother being sneaky" category.

The "Huh?" category is both for people who have very little understanding of what alcohol is, but also the ones who are like "Why are you asking *me* of all people?"

Assume that for the stingier characters, they have motivation to share alcohol ie Dori's getting paid or something.

Following the death of Sousi at the hands of a shapeshifting imposter, the rest of the Lightkeepers are on edge. When Flins arrives suddenly in Piramida, he comes face-to-face with Nikita, who holds his weapon at the ready.

How does one recognize a best friend of several decades? What do you do when faced with someone who clearly isn't them? And if one is an imposter, what has happened to the original?
