I'm CK, a disabled transmasc/NB artist.

This year has not been kind. I lost my mother back in april. I was giving every bit of money I had towards making sure our bills were paid and we could afford her carers. We barely had anything, and I was left even less than that. I can't afford repairwork for things when they go wrong... which is what has happened now.

My shower unit has failed. It can cost between £160 for repairs to £500+ for a complete replacement and installation. I have health conditions that affect my skin, making it dry and prone to forming wounds, so I need access to a shower badly. I can use a relative's shower for the time being, but it's not easy for me to leave me house due to my conditions.
