ive been in a warrior cats mood lately

im having a weird dilemma. there are some series/games/shows/books/etc that i’ve had on my “get into this eventually” list not because i’m super interested in them but because a lot of people like them and i want to be able to talk to people about it because as is i don’t have that many interests, if any at all. but since my interest in these things is motivated primarily by fomo im worried i will hate every minute of watching/reading it because i’ll just want to get to the end and know everything already and it’ll be a giant waste of time. and i know the solution to this is as simple as “watch and read things you’re actually interested in” BUT the problem is i am not interested in anything because im depressed and just genuinely don’t have any passion for life or hobbies or media. but people always say that if you’re depressed and fw nothing you have to sort of force yourself into doing anything so you don’t feel even worse. so now i dont know if i should force myself to watch/read media i have no interest in so i can maybe talk to others about it or if that’ll make it way worse
