This is the original headquarters of Nintendo in Kyoto, when the company made playing cards. It's a very narrow, nondescript street that doesn't seem to have an address. The plaque on the left reads "Playing Cards, The Nintendo Playing Card Co". The building is apparently closed up, unused and empty inside (I'm guessing). Or it's some secret headquarters. I dunno. Either way, this was a fantastic piece of history to find! And I extra love that the building has a blocky feel, like a Mario level. Proper thanks and sourcing go to @mynameisrazzle for inspiring this pic with own jumping Mario. (at Original Nintendo Building)
