We do, yes. One person that randomly comes into your lives and makes you feel remembered and known. Thing is that, that one person, is just as human as everyone else. They leave you eventually, when they feel they’ve done their job in making you happy and when you see them suddenly after a long period of time and they just say hi and leave, it hurts just as much as it shouldn’t.

So don’t get attached. Soulmates come in different forms, siblings, parents, friends, lovers, strangers too at one point of time.

Getting attached is gonna tear your heart into a million shreds and then, you’ll try picking them up, only to fail because your tears drenched them shreds and now they’re impossible to fix.
