I'm not entirely sure where to begin, but I want you to understand that people in this community...whether fans or those who simply know about the Backroom Pantheon...are often affected by the drama surrounding the creator of this community or bad rumors about it that I might not fully know about. I don't want to just turn a blind eye; I feel I have to do something.
As you know, every community or fandom has its dark side, whether big or small, but everyone deserves to be treated fairly. I don't mean to sound demanding, but all I'm asking for is empathy and forgiveness for the mistakes or bad rumors surrounding this community in particular, and all communities or fandoms in general. Can't we just forgive each other?
I know we can.Within our own capacity, whether this community is small, obscure, or hugely influential, when it gets caught up in toxic rumors, we know that it's wrong and needs to be fixed and forgiven.
Every single person, just like the collective as a whole, matters to the entire community. We should stop dragging up old rumors from the past....why keep bringing them up?We ought to show a bit more understanding toward one another.
However, if a certain situation goes too far, we should address it firmly so those involved recognize their mistake, refrain from repeating it, and earn forgiveness. We are all human beings here....brothers, sisters, friends, or acquaintances sharing the same community...so we should try to understand each other. It shouldn't matter whether a community is big, small, or unknown.
That is all I can do within my capacity. These are the words of a 16-year-old who still makes mistakes, lacks experience, and speaks poor English, but I still knew I had to do something; I had to take action. I don't want any community or fandom to be smeared or looked down upon, including the Backroom Pantheon community in particular.
And let me repeat I am genuinely doing everything within my power.
