面倒臭がりのアリス
♕ —He doesn’t want to be here; that much is clear.
Really, it had been obvious from the get-go that he was a reluctant candidate. A friend had nominated him without warning, and before he knew it the class had voted him in as representative… It was honestly a bother, but accepting was easier than finding someone else to push the responsibilities onto. So, he went to the meetings, out of duty.
It would’ve been fine. Troublesome, but that was to be accepted; difficult, but not overly so. Theoretically, he would’ve handled it with little more than the occasional griping. But there was one wild card factor that shattered all that with a wink and a smile—
The student council president, the newest bane of his existence.
Byakuran Gesso.
The one who had appointed him head of the disciplinary committee on a whim, had played with the minds of any and all of the poor souls on the student council, and had otherwise since been nothing more than a thorn in Alice’s side, called a private meeting between the two council leaders.
Perhaps such a thing was to be expected, but Alice had never been part of student government like this, so he hardly knew what to expect in the first place.
None too happily (and letting it show on his face), Alice crossed his arms and leaned back in his chair, sighing. "Is this going to take long?"
It's easy to see on Alice's face, he never bothered hiding the annoyance that came from being called into the student council president's office. That was something Byakuran had always enjoyed since bringing him to the board; those little quirks of irritation always brought a smile to the council president's face.
Even more when he voiced it as well.
A smile flitted over Byakuran's face as he watched Alice, leaning his elbows on the table and tented his fingers together. "Heeh~? I suppose that depends on you, Ali-chan." His voice comes out playful and soft, almost like a melody.
