ARYA STARK , WHAT ISÂ WEST OF WESTEROSÂ ?Â
I was doing some digging, and I found some information on what Arya may find when traveling west of westeros , and it is based on all canon information from what Martin has created. So, Iâve decided to pull that into my canon until any further information is released by the author . (source)
A SUMMARY: The sea to the immediate west of the continent of Westeros is called the Sunset Sea .  According to current knowledge, thereâs not much out there. If Arya passes the Iron Islands and sails northwest, a week or so later sheâll run into a rocky outcropping surrounded by seals and walruses as well as a castle, The Lonely Light, home of the most isolated noble house in Westeros, the Farwynds. The Farwynds are technically SWORN to the Greyjoys, but the other Ironborn tend not to have much to do with them. It is speculated that their ancestors include Northmen who were blown off course. So, if Arya stops by , it is assumed that plenty of Farwynds would eagerly join her on her adventure. Further to the southwest, a few weeksâ sail from Oldtown, lies the most westerly known land in the world: three small islands dubbed Aegon, Visenya, and Rhaenys, after the trio of Targaryens that conquered Westeros. No humans have ever tried to inhabit the islands, but they are apparently full of bountiful plant and animal life. An excellent place for Arya to stop for supplies, but maybe slightly boring to hang out in. Other than that, as far as anyone knows, itâs just endless ocean, and people who sail off on voyages of exploration tend to disappear. Further voyage to the east would bring Arya to Asshai, the mysterious sorcerersâ city thatâs the farthest-known civilization in that direction . If she indeed did it, that would make her the first person to successfully cross the Sunset Sea.
VERSE . ARYA STARK, THE WOLF -- THE VOYAGER . / west of westeros .Â
Arya spends the next decade travelling the seas and stopping through any island she finds . She arrives in the Iron Islands to acquire peace & somewhat of an alliance with Yara Greyjoy , gaining a pair of ironborn who join her on her journey. Her alliance with the Greyjoys end up gaining her trust by the Farwynds when she arrives in The Lonely Light . When meeting the Farwynds , she accumulates a larger crew and small fleet of her own who have sworn their loyalty to Arya and house Stark ; being descendants of the north, themselves. Through Aryaâs exploration , she finds time every few years to sail North and visit her family . ( in the verse where daenerys is killed and bran is king , she struggles to visit kingâs landing after itâs massacre and can come off visibly uncomfortable within the walls â despite this, she still visits her brother ). * Any threads taking place during this timeline , Arya is aged 19 - 30 , plot and verse dependent .  I am very open to any character being from these islands and joining Aryaâs crew , or coming along for the journey at any point of this timeline . OLDER!FACECLAIM: poppy drayton .Â
