In Season 2 of Ling Cage, Maiduo wields the Liuhe Great Spear, a practical combat spear from the Ming Dynasty in China. It’s among the deadliest and hardest-to-master long piercing weapons out there.

Traditionally it measures 3.5 to 4 meters long, fitted with a roughly 30-centimeter spearhead with blood grooves and a red tassel. Players of WWM are definitely familiar with this type of spear. The director revealed they hired national-level martial artists to do full motion capture, making sure every spear move, power delivery and body posture stays authentic and true to tradition.
