HELLO! And welcome to ask Anastas or An for short.

An is an original character I've been working on.

I figured this might help a bit with characterization practice.

I'll now give you all the info and all the rules!

Reoccurring characters:

Anastas-main character

Everyone's favorite (excluding the Catholic Church of course) necromancer!

Though An struggles with empathy he sees the potential in everyone and believes that life is a gift to be cherished.

So why should others miss out on it?

*Mary Taylor-supporting,

Thought to be a witch and killed by the Church by hanging.

Brought back to life by Anastas.

If she wasn't a witch before she is now.

An helps teach her magic in hopes that one day they'll be able to avenge her.

Has a soft spot for her and other women in the group.

*John Williams-supporting,

A newspaper editor trying to get by.

Anastas enjoyed his writing and started meeting with him, eventually befriending and hiring him part time. Noted as An's right-hand man.

*Catherine Jones-supporting,

A nurse that discovers a body oddly resembling a newly dead person.

Upon further investigation her motives change a bit and she laters takes Anastas up on an apprenticeship deal. Very social and headstrong.

*Robert Miller-supporting,

A farmer tragically killed by his pigs.

Upon reading the shocking story An made it a personal project to see how to bring back a man who didn't have a body. As a thank you Robert gifts An fresh goods. Not all too social but finds peace in being near the others.

*Samuel Brown-supporting

A young soldier that died in war.

An brought him back, as he believed he couldn't go out without truly living, a sweet sentiment, unfortunately living as a once deadman isn't too fun either. Playful but shell shocked. A more sensitive soul, spends most of his time with Catherine.

*Charity Thompson -supporting

Early settler, died during the Massachusetts smallpox epidemic.

Second to be brought back to life.

Struggles with self hatred and strong dislike of Anastas's methods as it goes against God. Keeps to herself mostly but Mary always hovers around her.
