This account is meant to facilitate community for necros because I dont see nearly enough. It is very much sfw although nsfw topics are allowed, just not in depth.

How to help a gore addiction..? I've tried horror / slasher movies but it doesn't hit the same.. I mostly use livegore and wpd, but have recently tried to move onto more healthy? Gore (medical gore, scientific gore, autopsies) but idk, I feel like a bad person for enjoying it. I want to get better

i recently read my girlfriend posted something that had necrophiles included in her dni. obviously its only a little internet post and i shouldnt be so fussed about it but ive been feeling ill with stress that ill never be able to truly be myself around her. i already struggle enough with my attraction as it is and seeing that made it so much worse. i dont want to tell her about it up front because its not worth risking our relationship for, seeing as we've been together for a long time and i love her more than anything, but i want her to understand that not everyone under that umbrella is bad. i dont want to feel uncomfortable around her knowing that some part of me disgusts her. i really dont know what to do, and if anyone could respond with any advice then id beyond appreciate it. thank you ♡

there's an alter in our system who's necro, and i'm the host, but i can't tell if i, myself, am necro. if anything, i'm more attracted to the concept of death, compared to actual dead bodies... is that still under the necro umbrella?

it's insane what you can find out about people when you start being honest about who you are. apparently one of my friends is a fictonecrophiliac (he only finds fake dead bodies attractive). he doesn't identify as a necro like i do, but still, he's admitted the attraction is there. when i make a comment about a corpse in a movie, he's agreeing with me. i genuinely thought he would hate me but i guess not. I'm still gonna be careful with who I do tell but, damn. there are more freaks in the world than you would think.

I find livor mortis on a dead woman very, very beautiful. The color is of course lovely but there's also something so delicate about it. I don't know if delicate is the right word. I also love the contrast between the paleness and the deep red, purple, green, and/or black. Corpse marbling is also lovely (sometimes even more so) but I don't get to see it as often.

I told two of my friends that i'm a necrophiliac recently. both took it well, but one of them, a sadist and probable psychopath, has been so lovely to me. he's shared his fantasies of murder and torture to show me that i'm not evil, and everyone has dark thoughts or urges. we both have our wants, but we're both still good people. now, we joke that if he ever finally kills someone, I get to have my way with the body before he butchers it to eat. it feels so nice to openly joke about my necrophilia, to treat it as just another, casual fact about me.
