The Peace of Wild Things

Reminder for today:

Just remember that sometimes, the way you think about a person isn’t the way they actually are.

You deserve good things and I want to be one of them.

How amazing it is to find someone who wants to hear about all the things that go on in your head.

I didn’t know what to call it, what was happening between us, but I liked it. It felt silly and fragile and good.

It’s a frightening thought, that in one fraction of a moment you can fall in the kind of love that takes a lifetime to get over.

You have to meet people where they are, and sometimes you have to leave them there.

Sometimes suffering is just suffering. It doesn’t make you stronger. It doesn’t build character. It only hurts.

But I must admit I miss you terribly. The world is too quiet without you nearby.

Don’t think. It complicates things. Just feel, and if it feels like home, then follow its path.

I’m with you. No matter what else you have in your head I’m with you and I love you.

And take care of yourself, and be happy, but don’t forget how big the world is.

I knew that what was left of me would always love you, but never in quite the same way.

…I want enough time to be in love with everything.
