As for the next chapter of 'Rage of the Black Dragon', I am currently writing it as we speak!

I don't know when it will be published, hopefully next week, maybe Monday or Wednesday, it all depends really.

My goal for the next chapter is 20k-25k, but from the look of it, it seems I will surpass that goal and may have to split the chapter into two... Well, we will see how it goes.

Well, while I can't disclose much about the story, considering that it's not published yet, and I do want to avoid spoilers...

BUT I can tell you that we will go in more depth about the Air Nomads' culture, traditions, and legends.

The Gods will be talked about in depth, too, but the most important one that would have the light shining on them is Lung-ta, especially when he is not talked about enough in 'Rage of the Black Dragon' in favor of the other Gods, so that's exciting!

I was even thinking that an adventure to the Lost City of Lung-ta might be in the cards, and going in depth about Aang's birth family and his life when he was young before Gyatso found him!

In 'Rage of the Mad Avatar', what I can say is that we are dealing with Aang's side of things and his descent into madness and insanity.

And unlike Zuko in 'Rage of the Black Dragon', Aang didn't have years to heal from the traumas he suffered and witnessed and glue himself in some semblance of sanity. At most, he only had a few hours to make sense of things between waking from the ice and seeing Zuko again.

You can say that Aang had lost his faith in the Air Monks' teachings and broken his vows to not harm or kill. He is way more bloodthirsty and apathetic, and is cruel and violent to anyone whom he perceives as a threat to his precious people... Be it because of Vaatu's influence (Because, yes, Vaatu is having a major role in this story), or be it because of the trauma of losing his friends, family, and beloved.

In the end, it doesn't matter because the outcome is one: Dark Aang!

A very dark intake for what happened during the episode, and Aang’s first real experience with the outside world after a hundred years of war that took and left the world in shambles.

This is a world that had lost its faith in the Avatar and considered him nothing but a symbol of misfortune that should be eliminated. A world that lost hope of ever winning the war, and accepted the tyrannical rule of the Water Tribes with resignation.

As for Aang? He will open his eyes to the fact that the world sees him as nothing but the cause of their misery and pain, and not the symbol of hope and balance he used to be…

…Poor Aang, he is not having a great time in this…

On a completely separate note… I am so proud of the shadow people I drew! My first time drawing any kind of creepy art (Disturbing stick figures aside), but considering it is October… the creepier the better, and I am happy with the results!

You can say, it was here, that the Main System started wondering if Aang was misassigned and that he was the true Scum Villain of the novel all along because no Protagonist no matter how cruel were this crazy!

As for everyone, especially Zuko, they were struck with how truly terrifying and destructive the Avatar was (Poor Zuzu, suffered a whiplash so strong by this change in personality, because the Aang he knew was nothing but a shameless flirt -Past encounters- and not this terrifying rage-filled God bent on wiping out Zhao and his fleet… and nearly did the same to the Northern Water Tribe after they…. anyway!).

Oh, and this is inspired by Epic: The Musical, if you were wondering… my guilty pleasure.

I gave it all to the background and forgot the couple until the last second. Did some fast sketching and left it like this so it won't be thrown into the WIP's cemetery, forgotten about.

Well, at least I finally managed to finish this piece, so it's an improvement? Tried some new brushes and styles with various degrees of success.

The Southern Air Temple Piece that I spent over a month and a half procrastinating on. And yes, Aang is teasing Zuko, because of how awkward Zuko was when trying to comfort him...

The Southern Air Temple was inspired by Chinese-style temples.
