Naomi is a Black transgender woman in the Dallas-Fort Worth area who has spent her career helping the LGBTQ+ community, especially transgender women of color. In 2019 she developed Transparency, a program for trans women of color that offers HIV and STI testing/treatment, Hormone Replacement Therapy, as well as mental health services and name, gender marker change, and leadership development. Naomi also serves on the board for Black Ladies in Public Health, a network of over 10,000 black women in various roles in the Public Health field helping provide networking opportunities, as well as other professional roles. Naomi’s goal is “change one heart and one mind at a time in an effort to uplift and elevate BIIPOC communities, especially those at the intersection of LGBTQ+, particularly transgender women of color” https://www.instagram.com/p/CoXf2icrA1L/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Last night wa something out of a movie. God Mother Nay Nay Juicy's 4th Annual Birthday Ball "Kiki In Red" GC Kiki Peoples Choice Awards was the biggest and best it has ever been! Not only did we pack it out, but we raised over $5,500 from the door and donations by some amazing people and friends that will help create a fund for trans housing in Dallas with Texas Pride Impact Funds. Had a great day commemorating World AIDS Day 2022 with the rest of Team @hardheaded.ent @meet_chiraq and Deon today. We enjoyed an impactful luncheon put on by @mrcommunity of @aidswalksouthdallas that was sponsored by @gileadsciences thanks to the great community work of @jberglun We then visited @dchhs_healthy_lives to visit the Ryan White Planning Council of the Dallas Planning Area and created quilt patterns for a commemorative quilt to be created and hung on site to commemorate World AIDS Day.
