I made some art. I saw these parametric panels searching for ideas on google and wanted to see if I could make one without a CNC. Using a template and some patience, I wound up with a proof of concept. This one is 11x14, next one will be 24x36. Got a big space on the living room wall that needs some pizazz. Haven't been in the shop for a couple days due to the cold and having no energy after work, came out today with a propane heater and was finding bits of snow and ice on my workbench and floor... Found this old Stanley Handyman plane in my dad's barn. Forgot to take a "before" pic,but this thing was rough. Rusty, the handles painted blue and flaky, and covered in dust and cobwebs. I took the whole thing apart, stripped it to raw metal, then repainted it. Stripped the handles and finished them with oil and wax, and got the blade nice and sharp. Cable organization will be done later, need a new power strip... But the media center is all done! Sprayed the finish with a @gracohomeownersprayers True Coat 360 DS. It handled the @myoldmasters Masters Armor like a champ and allowed me to get this fully painted and cleared in one day! Primer, 3 coats of paint, and 3 coats of poly. Sanded in between each.
