This is my OFC, Juliette Black, the youngest daughter of the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black.

Juliette Black, the youngest daughter of the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black, she wants to break away from the suffocating rules of her world, fearing the fate that awaits her if she goes down the path laid down for her.

She has seen what became of all her siblings- Andromeda was ostracised, Narcissa surrendered herself to duty and love, and Bellatrix began losing herself entirely. Juliette has seen the cost of both rebellion and obedience.

Then she meets a stranger with a name nobody recognises. Tom Riddle offers her power, knowledge, and a glimpse into a world far larger than the one she was raised in. But as whispers of a rising Lord spread through their society, Juliette finds herself pulled into a conflict that will force her to choose between comfort and rebellion, family and freedom.

Part III

Lord Voldemort had almost won the war with Dumbledore’s death when a significant truth came to light that changed everything.

Dorian Riddle, who was raised to be his successor, discovered his life wasn’t what he thought it was. When it was revealed to him that he was the dead child of the Potters, he ran, unwilling to participate in the aimless war any longer. But circumstances had not allowed him to leave, and now, he is back with his birth parents, who are determined to destroy the man he still calls his father.

Both sides had decided what Dorian was meant to be; fates that he refused to accept. All he wanted was time and autonomy, to make sense of his own being. But destiny had already planned something worse for him, and it may cost him more than the war itself– something he cannot return from.

I started with unmas(que) as a short story, but now have decided to turn it into a much longer story with more depth.

A recurring word in this story is 'questions', and I think I just love it.

Dorian never questioned the strange tradition of masking faces, something that was started in the wizarding world a decade ago. As the son of the Dark Lord, he struggles with the moral questions of his self, and as some secrets come to light, he is put into impossible places and made to question his beliefs. It does not matter what happens afterwards- only that it did.

Will be continuing this as a series with three part!

Part II (current fic) - deals with Dorian questioning so many things he'd grown up believing, questions which demands him to face deep and uncomfortable answers.

Part III - will deal with the aftermath of the extreme steps Dorian had taken to understand his own self and to place himself in this terribly divided world.

Part I - shows how Dorian had grown up, as a supporting fic to contextualise how he came to be the questioner. This looks much more closely as the relationship between Dorian and his father, Lord Voldemort.

Stories are just flowing out of my head

Tom Riddle/OFC and OFC/Barty Crouch Jr. in the Marauder's and Harry Potter's era.

Have been thinking about this for a long, long while. Had written down the first few chapters 3 years ago, but always felt something was off about the entire planning. Since yesterday, I've been thinking about it again after a long while and finally opened my docs and wrote it all down again. Many parts of my earlier plans are rethought, much better and clearer. It feels more 'write-able' than before.

I am planning to write it after 'un-mas(que)' is finished, another longfic with a serious tone.
