Soooo I know it's been ages I guess your could say im just a lazy lil bitch who doesnt keepup with her blog. Anywhooo basically the title of this post calls for a bit of sing and dance just like when I was 5 and did in fact (try to) “dance” to it in my concert. Fab times.. One day when technology advances enough I might try to post the vid. So I just got back from a super great trip to amerricuurrrr. Who knew I'd love it so much!! Liked legit, So much better than I ever imagined. 

When I got home I was fairly depressed (not to mention also hormonal, pretty much a recipe for disaster and stay away at all costs type situation) and had a bit of a nap. Meanwhile the boys (my two besties) went to a bar to continue living as alcoholics and sent me a handwritten list of everything we did day to day!!

Needless to say I woke up pretty chuffed but also heavily regretting my decision to come home and retold each day's events to my unsuspecting boyfriend who I'm pretty sure didnt really give two hoots and was just glad that I was home, with my two hooters.

I thought I better share a post about my all time favourite purchase - this gray coat. I mean lets be honest, I do buy a lot of stuff and I spend wayyy too much money on clothes, shoes and linen amongst other useless shit. Sometimes I go to my wardrobe and find things I bought, still with tags and wonder what the HELL ever compelled me to buy it. Ahh well I guess that's just another joy of being a crazy female. 

Anyway the point of this story is I found this coat in David Jones in the middle of summer (AW15 had just landed in stores) and in the air conned shop I was basically forced to try it on. I instantly loved it but being short I thought I needed a second opinion. I asked my boyfriend among various others who I assume all loved it. I'll never know as to be honest I was dead set on buying it anyway I didn't care what they said lol. 

Witchery finally had a sale a couple of months later (LOVE a witchery sale!!) and I got this for 25% off! I still love this coat and wear it allll the time. Maybe too much..but it's the best ahha. In this particular post I am wearing Nobody jeans, Boohoo crop top and Tony Bianco shoes. 

Today I braved the Melbourne winter so I could get a good shot of my latest boohoo.com purchase, this high neck muscle knit - (probably not quite the right name for it but that's how I see it lol) it's super cute and cropped and my fave colour GRAYYYY. love a good gray top. This only cost me $20 plus a 20% discounts on top of the to so it literally was cheap as chips! I'm making a very slight effort to try and buy cheap things lately as I'm planning on studying and working less next year so I'm trying to get used to the simple life haha. The shoes are Tony Bianco, Jeans are Nobody and jacket is vintage Levi's. 

This fab knit is from Country Road (fast becoming my new fave shop). It’s spliced which means the sides are split and it sits perfectly with anything. Spliced itsme of clothing are the big thing of 2015 it seems, with dresses, jumpers, and tops all having some kind of splice action in the mix. This one is extra special as the front of the jumper is cable knit and a super soft cream colour, whereas the back is a rougher grey wool mix which is just as luxurious.

Anyway God knows why the hell I wore a Fluoro pink sports singlet under this little number. I’m not even sporty. Sorry about the shit contrast lol really ruins the calm vibe doesn’t it. Ahh well one day I’ll learn to match my colours like a normal person lol. Ps I’m going to have a rave about some fancy (but kinda crap) items I picked up from boohoo soon so stay tuned! I mean Im pretty sure I only have one follower so far but Ya knowww, positive thoughts and all that ;)

If you haven't been to Mr Mister yet then you're missing out. I decided I loved this place after finding it on insta and realising it was just on Chapel St. Not far from me. I went there one morning and forgot my camera (stupidly). Anyway that morning I ordered their baked eggs which were so damn fine. If I had the choice to pick any breakfast for the rest of my life, it may just be that. 

The next time I went I took my bf for his birthday and although he normally likes to cook his own brek, (Masterchef lol) he loved it too. His time I ordered the baked beans which were also a massive hit. They were served with Persian feta which is my absolute fave and the whole dish really hit the spot. 

Meanwhile, brad ordered the smoked bacon slab with a white bean purée and some kind of salsa which was sooooo delish. I love the atmosphere of this cafe. Though it is super trendy Wendy, it also has such a relaxed vibe and the staff are all so lovely. I love trying new breakfast spots but I know for sure I'll def be going back to Mr Mister soon. Give it a try if you're in the area. 

I have a major major crush when it comes to winter coats. They are well and truly my favourite wardrobe staple. This year has been hard on my bank account because while it was still summer I stumbled across the most beautiful witchery coat (not pictured). It was super long, grey, dayumm luxurious and just so perfect. I had to have it but being a 35 degree day I thought I’d take a few snaps in the DJs fitting rooms and leave.

Lucky for me, a month or two later witchery had a 25% of everything sale and I snapped it up. I was in awe when I got it. Being quite short I wondered if a long coat would really suit me. How stupid could I be? Of curse it suited me. It was the bees knees and I was so in love. Anyway I’ll be sure to post some pics of it later down the track.

The point of this post is my new Country Road coat which I again got while they had a sale on as it has now gone up to full price again. Its so good. Not only is it reversible, it is just wayyyyy cool as it has these flaps on the back and the front which give me a bit of a military feel. It’s warm and much heavier than my long witchery one. It’s NAVY which in itself is a selling point as navy has come a long way since being the standard primary school windcheater colour.

This is my amazing little technological friend my fuji x100T. Words can’t describe just how good this little pocket rocket is. I was tossing up between the X30 and the X100T or S. Both the X30 and X100T have wifi which means you can take a pic, press a button and it literally transports the photo to your phone as long as the 3G or wifi is available. i ended up with the X100T over the X30 because I knew it was better and it took a nicer photo. It’s soo good. Perfect for me as I am a constant instagrammer. I love Instagram because it feels like it’s a digitamood board. It’s so inspirational (well Instagram isn’t but some people on there are) and I am clearly obsessed lol. 

My friend jamie (the photographer) seemed a little gobsmacked when he saw I had bought a MANUAL camera. Like what the hell? I can’t even take a sturdy shot on his Nikons so how the hell was I gonna operate this? Wellll it did take a while. The first night I had it I was so upset because I couldn’t take a clear shot. They were all fuzzy and I was devastated because I loved the look of the camera and knew it had SO much potential but dick me had no idea how to use it. I read the manual a few times and played around with it and finally took the clearest photo of my leg and undies with the perfectly fuzzy background. What an achievement hey. Naturally I sent it to a few people to get some praise. (It wasn’t as raunchy as it sounds haha)

Point of this very long story is now I am totally in love with this camera, it takes such a nice pic and is so cute. I take it everywhere. It did cost a lot.. Retails for approx $1600au but I paid about $1300au because I’m an avid online shopper and I waited a couple of days to get it. I did try it out in store though and knew it was gonna be a winner.

Basically I’ve made this blog to share whatever the hell I feel like posting at any particular time. I don’t have one focus area I just bunch a whole heap of stuff together and that is me.

My blog name is The HSP blog. The reason for this is that my Instagram name has always been hotsexypanties – now it doesn’t have the ‘e’ as instagram are too prudey for that apparently. I’m not totally up myself nor am I an exotic dancer but it just stuck after a friend of mine changed my Twitter name to hotsexypanties many moons ago! Anyway I liked the acronym of H S P but have recently learned that it is also an acronym for ‘highly sensitive person’ lol woops. That is kinda fitting for me sometimes too but that is def not the point of my blog haha.
