Graffiti Park - Castle Hill , Austin, TX When speaking to friends and other art savy people in or from Texas about graffiti and street art, this place is brought up. It started as a project that would last for a couple of years, it ended up lasting about five. Now they're looking into relocating to be more accessible and possibilities of expansion and other amenities like restrooms, proper lighting and parking.

At fashion week 17 in Paris, Louis Vuitton sent models down the cat walk rocking items with a familiar logo and shade of red (most eye catching and obvious of course). A beautiful meeting of high fashion and street wear. This collaboration will begin releasing July 17th at select Louis Vuitton stores.

Its happening whether we want it or not. And several artists have been letting it be known for years. Artists like Pejac and Banksy portray what goes on in the world with some minimalistic art. In many countries, a majority of the population live in urban areas where these pieces can be seen.

I was browsing the internet for something blog-worthy, when i came across Ben Rubin. Low and behold, this man is amazing. He doodles on his iPad as he takes rides on the subway in NYC.

Earlier this year, in the South Pacific, Festpac was held. Festpac is a festival of art and culture spread across the Pacifit islands and countries. One notable pair, Charles and Janine Williams TMD of New Zealand, painted murals on the streets of Guam. They travel and spread knowledge about native birds. Any artist would love to have their own studio space. Hell any artist would love to have their own gallery. This place is just that. A gallery. The dope thing about it is that you can live there. You could even sublet a room. The catch is that this spot will cost you a cool $3.195 million. I mean if the price tag doesnt bother you, then this is the place to be. Located in San Francisco, this sick gallery/apartment is up for grabs (or at least it was when i found the article). It has a seven room gallery, a basement lighting studio, two 1 bedroom 1 bathroom rooms upstairs and a roof top deck to top it off.

Street Heroines. A film directed by a female photographer, that captures the creativity of female graffiti and street artists all over the world. Being a female artist has many high points with just as many lows. It will be great to see a film with so much female empowerment. Alys Beach, Florida A community with endless white walls. Sounds like heaven. Such is true for the events coming up in May. Digital Graffiti at Alys Beach is a projection art festival. Artists use various technologies to project their work the the white walls of buildings of this community. Known also as "photon bombing", guerrilla projection" and "urban projection" around the world by artists that project their work on buildings and skyscrapers. The festivals held each year get entries from around the world and these entries have a chance to win thousands of dollars in cash prizes. Waterlight Graffiti What exactly is waterlight graffiti? Well as far as the waterlight graffiti website explained, it is a project aiming to create a material made up of thousands of LED lights that light up when water comes in contact with it. The idea of the project is to let people do graffiti on a wall made of light with an environmentally friendly atomizer. Sounds sick if I may say so myself. To be able to take two things you would never imagine would work together, combine them, and create art.

This artist brings his art to a different level, with a style that reminds me of cassette tapes having all of the tape yanked out and sprawled across a surface. In Seoul Korea, a group of designers worked together to make some of the streets more colorful and lively during the monsoon season. Its called the monsoon project. In this project they used hydrochromic paint to cast beautiful images that would resemble rivers onto the streets. The catch is that the image would only be visible when wet.
