#StreetArt in #Seoul That Only Appears After It Has #Rained The school of the art Institue of Chicago teamed up with #Pantone to bring some color using #hydrochromic paint – a special formula which changes from transparent to opaque when it gets wet, the created some #amazing #artpieces which only can be seen when it has rained. #ProjectMonsoon (at Seoul, South Korea)

Magic Pebbles Hydrochromic paint on painted pebbles to make them change colour when water is poured on them or when it rains. They are part of a Community Gardening project - 'Growing Altfinch' and will be incorporated into the garden we're building. So the pebbles will change when people water the plan plants close to the pebbles and when it rains. There will be other 'Magic Pebbles' in the garden, some that glow in the dark with drawings on made by children from the project and some that change colour with heat or UV light. (I'll post pictures of these soon). The idea is that the pebbles will help draw attention to the changes in the weather, light conditions and other environmental changes.

So does anyone know where to buy hydrochromic ink?
