REALISTIC AMERICAN HOME
Inspired by American suburbs, I built a nostalgic, slightly rundown home. I hope you'll enjoy it!

I keep having ideas of legacies I can do but once I make the sims and begin building I lose all interest…😭
4t3 Conversion From BatsFromWesteros’ Jewelry Catalog (ft. RoyaltySimblr)
A 4t3 conversion from 83 items of BatsFromWesteros’ catalog, now for ts3! This was a long time coming, and as I said in my most recent post, I put a lot of work into this, since this number is nothing short of amazing, especially for the very deep niche I’m in! I know I may disappoint some people, but I genuinely think this could be useful for 99% of you, so I really hope you like it! Also because we just desperately needed jewelry in ts3, there’s just so little of it! Lots of stuff to talk about, as you probably guessed haha, so please read it all! Enjoy! <3
Now as you probably guessed, I could NEVER take screenshots & edit preview pictures for 83 pieces of jewelry, so I really hope their thumbnails are enough for you to see the dimension of this + if what you were maybe waiting for is included!
In this compilation were converted: Queen Mary Collection, Queen Victoria Emerald Parure, Elisabeth Ruby Set, Fife Fringe Set, Brazilian Aquamarine Set, Wessex Aquamarine Set, A Royal Wedding Collection, along with other singularly released pieces!
————— —————
💖 💖 LOVE YOU ALL! THANK YOU SO MUCH! 💖 💖
————— —————
Known Problems:
Most of the stuff here has lighting glitches in CAS, because of their specular maps! Note that they are perfectly fine in-game, is just a bug! Hope no one deletes everything because of this!
Necklaces are terrible in ts3, so expect clipping in a lot of animations! Sorry!
Brooches might a lot of times not work, getting either inside of the top/dress or being way too far from it. This also happens in ts4, and there’s nothing I could do about it, since we sadly don’t have a specific slider for them like for hats! Also explains the lack of brooches for ts3, in general! So sorry!
The Elisabeth Ruby Necklace may sink into the sims’ body, because of it’s odd location and bone assignment, which can’t be changed.
It’s 83 items, I most probably overlooked something, so please tell me whenever you find something wrong, and I’ll do my best to fix it!
LIGHTING GLITCHES ONLY APPEAR ON CAS!
————— —————
ALL OG CREDITS GO TO @batsfromwesteros & @royaltysimblr! IT’S NOT MY MESHES, AND IT’S NOT MY TEXTURES, I JUST CONVERTED THEM TO THE SIMS 3!
————— —————
THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE DOWNLOADING:
EVERYTHING (except for two brooches) IS VERY HIGH POLY! IF YOU DON’T HAVE A MEDIUM TO HIGH PC RIG, THIS COMPILATION IS NOT RECOMMENDED! I wasn’t able to reduce them in any way since the pearls added in everything automatically looked deformed, or worse, would simply vanish! But I promise that whenever I could I reduced them by a lot (example: Indian Cartier Pearl Tiara)! From what I can recall (it’s 80+ items, I can’t remember it all even if I wanted to lol), the highest accessory is 45K. Won’t create any problems on sims, like bugs or explosions, but on the game’s performance, if a lot of stuff is used, yes. Sorry again, but nothing I could do about it, as I said!
Necklaces have separate morphs, with their respective thumbnails, except for the Margaret’s Diamond Necklace & Wessex Aquamarine Necklace, which already have morphs included)! You’ll see 3 versions of them: the regular one, one with an “F” written at the side, for fat morph, and one with a “T”, for thin morph! Hope that’s useful for all of you!
Some pieces have 2 presets, for better customization! Can’t remember which, hope you’ll use them tho haha!
ALL tiaras are hat compatible!
Brooches don’t have morphs, except for The Victoria Brooch and the Queen Victoria Emerald Brooch! Sorry, but they were just way too high poly to add them!
————— —————
After all of this, download my 1-month long work and enjoy my friends, because the followers gifts will not be coming out again for quite some time haha! <3

Historical inaccuracies in major published novels and period dramas bother me so much because I can't write a fan fiction that I know I'll post for free without being fairly certain I have the major facts right.
I'm writing a story right now that I probably won't post at all and I still spent a good hour and downloaded a research paper to figure out if women in feudal China were allowed to have baths during their periods. The answer is no, as I suspected, but I checked! I also learned about their version of pads which sound much better than European historical period solutions and kept reading long after I'd found my answer. It was all fascinating to learn about because history is interesting.
So I guess what I'm saying is, why write historical fiction or make a period drama if you aren't even interested in or in love with history? When I read Bernard Cornwell, for example, it feels like he's fascinated by the period he's writing about. No one seems strangely modern, but they all feel deeply human. I don't need a female character to point out sexism or patriarchy to me, it's obvious. I'm trusted to think about it for myself. The author trusts that I care as much as he does about the past.
I don't understand why you would produce historical fiction if you don't care about the past. Maybe I'm the wrong audience, maybe most people don't care, but I don't get it. And I don't expect everything to be perfect, we don't even know everything about even an era as recent as the Regency, but it doesn't even feel like some of these people care at all.

Why are there so many steps to making cc
That one Bridgerton masquerade dress without gloves
Basically I really liked this dress but hated gloves being included. I went back and forth over sharing this because it is the most simple thing ever; so simple that I'm not bothering with a whole fancy pic to show it off. Because of that, this is a tumblr exclusive, a 1500 followers gift if you will. Feel free to let me know if you'd like it without the jewelry too, or send asks about other edits you'd like to see! No promises on requests, but I'm open to ideas rn as I work on other things
Info:
7 original swatches
bgc
edited shadows of sleeves a little as imo it felt too much without gloves there
f frame
no custom thumbnail
literally same as original on all accounts just minus the gloves and shadow map

(Some of) my favorite portraits from Spring 2026, mostly organized by era
((NOTE: If you see any weirdness on the backgrounds, it is NOT AI. I take actual painted portraits and do my best (for better or... worse lol) to edit the people out of them so that I can use them for backdrops. It takes a lot of copy/pasting and smudging. I just want actual backgrounds on portraits, alright!!! 😭))
