Well better late than never. Here’s my submission for the @natanweek prompt “Motel”. I knew from when I saw it that I wanted to draw them comforting each other post the apocalypse happening at an abandoned motel. It was probably the prompt I was most excited about. Partly because post apocalyptica is one of my favorite things to draw, partly because I really like stories with that sort of setting, and partly, because it would be my first time trying to use anything beyond basic brushes when drawing digitally. It was a fun and extremely time consuming challenge. Hope you guys like it.

Lucifer has never been comfortable in one place for too long.

There’s an itch under his skin, the discomfort that comes with lingering, the restlessness that tells him it’s time to keep moving. He is immortal, as eternal as the stars, and yet for all the time he has, there’s a disquiet in him that forces him onwards. 

Summary: Lucifer is in Hell, but then he’s Home.

Notes: Y’all I just wrote 3 fics in a row. I wrote Hell and it was short, and I knew in advance that Home was gonna be short, and I also knew from the very start what Hell and Home were gonna be about, so I decided they went together just fine to make one, slightly longer fic. And with this, @natanweek is done. Thank you everyone, this is the most writing I’ve done in a long time, and it felt really good.

Summary: A fire sends Natalie and Lucifer to stay at a motel, and it definitely wasn’t Lucifer’s fault.

Notes: Don’t know what this is! I had a very vague idea for this one, and I just kind of sped through it so I could get to ‘hell’. Almost caught up. For @natanweek day 6, Motel.

Summary: Natalie decides she wants to go on vacation to the beach, and Lucifer decides he wants to see her smile every day for the rest of her life.

Notes: THIS IS LATE. I had this idea Wednesday night, and then Thursday was a shit show in my personal life, and I haven’t had the emotional energy to do any writing until today. For @natanweek day 5, Coast. This is straight up a proposal fic, y’all, and I am very bad at describing rings, so if you care here it is.

Day 7: Hell

Lucifer has housed Hell for centuries. 

The screams of the damned, the clawing fingers wrestling for control, the telltale thrum of souls just under his skin waiting to break free are all abysmally typical sensations, but that doesn’t make them any less horrifying. 

He learns to drown it out, to reduce their chaos to background noise, but they’re always there, lying in wait, ready to drag him down and make him like them. 

Day 6: Motel

Getting bored + pillow fights makes for interesting motel shenanigans!
