Hot damn I just made this shit and coupled it with this green bean kale thing my grandma did and oh my god the hamburg steak thing turned out SO much better than I expected. Kimi to Boku is probably one of the cutest anime series ever, and Shun Matsuoka is like the cutest character from that series, so I decided to make this recipe dedicated to him, because, unlike you sad little weirdoes, he is a precious angel and he deserves all the credit he can get.

So motherfuckers, today we’re gonna make some delicious fuckin Hamburg Steak. You can either make huge, dinner sized patties, or lil ones for a bento box, but you’re gonna learn how to make it because they’re fucking delicious and full of delicious fuckin protein.

SO LETS GET THIS SHOW ON THE ROAD YOU CRAZY FUCKIN WEEBS. LETS DO THIS.

~ Shun Matsuoka’s Hamburg Steak (servings:6 larger patties, but you can make that shit smaller if u want idk)

Ingredients for Meat-

1 large egg

1/4 cup milk*

1 small onion finely diced

2 large clove garlic minced

1/2 lb ground beef

1/2 lb ground buffalo meat

1 cup panko

1 Tbsp ketchup

1 tsp oyster sauce

1 tablespoon parsley minced

1 teaspoon soy sauce

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

pinch of salt

olive oil (for cooking)

*I didn’t have milk on me, so I used half n half goats milk instead and it still turned out really really really fucking good. like damn. 

Ingredients for Sauce-

1/2 cup red wine (I used Chianti)

1/4 cup ketchup

1/4 cup water

3 Tbsp tonkatsu sauce

~ Procedure-

Accept the fact that Shun Matsuoka is a miracle of the universe. Just accept it. 

 Mix the ground beef and ground buffalo with the salt and pepper, set that shit aside for later.

Take half of the diced onion and the minced garlic and sautee that shit in some olive oil over medium-high heat until it’s hella browned. Remove it from the heat and let it cool for a bit.

Beat the egg with the milk. Once combined, add the panko crumbs and let that shit rest for like 2 minutes or so.

Once that’s done, add literally everything to the meat mixture and mush it all up with your hands till everything’s combined. 

Heat up a large frying pan or skillet over medium-high heat and add some olive oil. 

As the pan’s heating up, separate the meat into like 6 moderately sized patties. 

Once that’s all done, add the patties (enough so that they’re not crowded) to the frying pan and cook for approximately 4 minutes on each side. Don’t flip a shit if you think it’s undercooked, that’s fine. We gon’ cook it more later.

Remove the burgers and add the wine. Cook that shit till it’s reduced by half and then add the ketchup, tonkatsu sauce, and water and combine it.

Once that’s all combined, add the burgers back to the pan and let them cook under a cover for 7 minutes, flipping them over halfway in between.

After 7 minutes is up, cook them uncovered for 3 more minutes before removing that biz from the heat.

Put them on a plate and cover them with the remaining cooking sauce left on the pan. Add some parsley for color and serve with rice.

Take a swig of wine straight from the bottle like the Top Chef you are, you little shitbaby.
