yup, that’s it folks. i’ve been writing shikamaru for… i wanna say a little over half a year now. i’m done. that half year of my writing was filled with sporadic activity, and whenever i was around, it was… nice. i had fun, i hope you guys did too. in any case, here’s why: i don’t want to write shikamaru anymore. some stuff has happened here or there, sometimes not even relating to me, but it’s caused my view of the fandom to become… skewed. after a while, i got tired and felt my muse for shikamaru disappear. it came back, usually, and it felt strong when it did. however, a month would pass and i’d soon find the muse had gone again. this time it’s gone for sure. i ain’t coming back.

i’m also not deleting this blog, it’ll stay up and i’ll still have access to it, because i don’t want the good memories i have of this blog to disappear. i want to be able to look back on it and be all “yo fuck i remember those guys” or “wow holy shit i was an idiot”.

one way or another, that’s the end of it. i suppose i had a good run, but who can really say, right? i’ll be sticking around for questions over the next couple days, should any of you have some. best of luck to all of you!
