if by “people’s negativity” you mean their projecting or attempting to transfer their own suffering onto others, or constant catastrophizing, then yeah, that’s usually best avoided

Be it her frustration with trying to vocalize the nuances and differences between her experience of same gender attraction and her attraction to men…(or the social pressure NOT to vocalize this because bi women are seen as inauthentic if we have varied experiences of attraction instead of equal, etc).

Or how her experience of biphobia/homophobia is innately and irrevocably knotted up with misogyny in many painful ways and is suffered in her most intimate of relationships…

Or how her attraction to men isn’t always positive or a blessing but can be confusing and highly unwanted, making her question how much her experience of attraction is informed by internalized homophobia and compulsory heterosexuality.

Hi everyone!! I haven’t made a post like this literally in 3 years because I have been doing okay financially. My transition was kickstarted thanks to a GoFundMe I did and I have been holding myself down ever since. Going into 2019, I am determined to implement the surgical alleviation of my dysphoria into my life, but I need y’alls help.

white women aren’t harmed and often arent even aware of how women of colour internalise eurocentric ideas and changing them selves out of self hate but some of these women might become mothers of mixed kids and then what do those kids do that their mum thinks of them in terms of a racialised ideas of sexual appeal? what might happen if Black and mixed women come in contact with them and these women are in positions of power?

They will grow up and wash the fake tan off and ’ return’ to white society and giggle about their silly Black phase and wanting to look like “ that” while the ideas about Black womens looks and bodies remain. Woc that recover from changing them selves to fit eurocentric will still live in a society that tells them to change and will often have years of work ahead and perhaps these white women might still have to deal with whatever body issues they have but there is no pressure to be Black

None of them need to do this to survive they way woc may need to
