The gambler doesn’t give the older man a chance to reply —— Grabbing his chin and planting a kiss on his cheek, making sure to make an obnoxious ‘mwah’ noise.

There’s a high-end casino in Ikebukuro that Dice likes to frequent when in the area. On the surface, it’s not really his style —— Being full of rich people and star-eyed tourists. But the drinks are good, the people are attractive and the attractions are flashy, all coming together to draw Dice in.

Oh. Also, there’s a super hot singer that performed there.

Kuuro was not only nice to look at but also nice to listen to. He had some serious talent ！  

The gambler's upbringing was far from enjoyable, but one thing he always enjoyed was music. With your mother having high authority it was expected for him to have the same rap ability to keep his family in power. Music lessons were strict and plentiful, lyric writing lessons even more so. But at night when he could practice his own style of rapping —— Freestyling under his breath —— It made it all worth it.

Dice loved learning new techniques and styles of music. Anything that could possibly better his current performance as a member of Fling Posse. The casino singer was one of the people he wanted to get some pointers from ！

And maybe, if he’s lucky, they’d get more... Friendly.

For weeks he has been approaching Kuuro after his show, giving his compliments before asking for him to give him a few pointers. Each time, the singer says he’ll think about it before escaping the conversation completely —— Tonight being no different.

To better his mood, the gambler... Well, gambles. Spends yen upon yen on everything from slot machines to the casinos' gimmicky prize wheel. And after an intense game of poker (which he may or may not have anted up more than he actually had), Dice is being hauled out of the building by his, very large, opponents.

❝ Oi ！ Come on, guys ！ I’ll get your money ！ I’m good on my word —— Promise ！ ❞ He’s thrown against the alley wall, hard enough to knock the wind out of him. Pleads doing him no good —— A fist raised up, aimed and ready to hit him square in the jaw.

❝ How am I losing ！？ ❞

Mukuro was a name he’s heard a few times. Both for her info broker work and for her talent at gambling —— The former of which Dice didn’t really give a shit about. The gamble was what got his attention.

Playing poker against someone who enjoyed the game as much as he did was a very appealing idea —— So when he entered one of his regular underground gambling dens and heard the woman’s name thrown around, Dice knew he was in luck.

The chance to challenge her.

But his luck ended there, as he currently fretted over his next play while Mukuro had a proud look on her face.

For years Dice has heard the name Yamada Ichiro.

Anyone his age would know who Ichiro was. He was a hella good rapper —— Considered to be the best of their generation! But individuals like Dice, ones who had their toes a little too deep into the criminal pool of Tokyo, have heard to stay clear from MC B.B if you valued your hide.

He was young but had his resources and could seriously spit a verse.

Dice was a gambler. Gambling with his life as much as he gambled with money. Once he barely scraped by with his head still on his shoulders and a Hypnosis Microphone in his pocket —— He actively looked for a Battle. Looking for the thrills promised from them.

Fast forward and now Dice Arisugawa was a contestor in the Division Rap Battles. The same Battles Yamada resurfaced in —— With a team made of his younger brothers ？  

Seeing Ramuda jump on to the, supposedly, dangerous teen as a greeting made the gambler's heart speed up. Ramuda was a strong rapper but there was no way he could take a punch from a notable delinquent like Yamada ！ —— But Ichiro only laughed and scolded the elder for surprising him ？

What the fuck ？

Even now —— The two were more or less friends. Have hung out more than Dice just mooching a meal off of the younger. Dice has seen a personality from Ichiro that was the complete opposite of the Ichiro he was warned about more than once. A concept that continues to throw him for a loop every time the other sends him a screenshot of his newest pulls from whatever app he was playing.

❝ Ya know, ❞ The gambler blows out a puff of smoke. ❝ You’re nothin’ like what I expected. ❞

Gentaro couldn’t help but lean into the hand while listening to Dice, before it was pulled away. Making Gentaro chase it for just a second, as he leant towards it.

He never thought that someone holding his face would ever make him that weak. Something about the size of Dice’s hand, paired with how calloused it was – it sent shivers down his spine.

Soon though, that hand found its place back on his hip and Gentaro couldn’t help but grin. Dice’s intention was clear as day but sadly it wasn’t going to be that easy.

“For someone that promises so much, your lack of doing anything is quite surprising.” Dice’s words still lingered in the back of his mind but he didn’t want to think about the implications now. Would Dice even be someone befitting of the ‘boyfriend’ label? Was Gentaro? Well, none of that mattered, all he thought about was how he wanted Dice’s body against his.

And that impulse he followed, placing both his hands on the gambler’s hips and pushing him close, letting out a small gasp followed by a delightful little sigh at the minimal friction.

“I’ll allow it, Dice. Let’s do it here… and that’s not a lie.” saying that Gentaro let his hands wander back, behind the jacket, taking a hold of Dice’s pretty ass.  There were million little things Gentaro was aching to do in that moment but great things only came to the patient. So, Gentaro might as well taking in the other’s reaction first, eyes watching curiously.

Sultry expression and voice —— Yet Dice found himself thinking the elder was adorable when he chased after his hand. Leaning into the touch like it was grounding him. Did he react that way because it was the gambler’s touch or was Gentaro merely putting on an act to humor himself when he finally reveals it’s a lie ？

Lie or truth was like two faces on a coin. Tossed up in the air as soon as the writer’s back met the alley wall. Flipping and flipping and flipping above their heads, waiting to drop and reveal its results at Gentaros command. 

Dice would typically bet on an outcome. Watch the coin spin in the air with trained eyes. But tonight, he could only hope that it lands truth side up. Eyes only able to look at the man in front of him.

Verbal consent. The outcome is truth —— Paired with another underlying challenge and foreign hands on his ass. Altogether they only had one possible outcome: Arisugawa Dice comes undone.
