## Backstory

Fifty years after the era of Sonic and his friends, very few of them remained alive. Most of the world was populated by humans, robots, and a solitary Shadow.

After Commander Walters passed away, leadership fell to a young woman named Eila.

Meanwhile, on a hidden and unexplored region of Angel Island known only to Knuckles and the Fire Tigers, a Chaos Energy crystal creature called Prismatic attempted to seize the Master Emerald.

The Fire Tigers fought against Prismatic for years. During this conflict, a young Fire Tiger named Flame was born and grew up watching the endless battle. Eventually, Flame's mother died, leaving behind a letter instructing her daughter to destroy Prismatic by any means necessary.

Although heavily weakened and nearly destroyed, Prismatic survived. To continue existing, it created a hedgehog body for itself.

That body became Prisma.

However, because the body possessed a true mind and heart, Prismatic could not fully control her. It could only influence her when she used too much Chaos Energy.

Prisma eventually met Shadow and slowly built friendships with others. Glide quickly became her best friend.

Flame initially viewed Prisma as an enemy because she knew Prisma had been created by Prismatic and Prisma doesn`t. Eila shared this belief, causing conflict between them.

Over time, Prisma proved herself through her actions and eventually saved Flame's life. The two became friends, although Flame occasionally remained cautious.

As Shadow and Prisma grew closer, Prisma accidentally used too much Chaos Energy, allowing Prismatic to awaken.

At the same time, Bunny, a guardian of time, entered the conflict due to Prismatic's manipulation of time itself.

Prismatic constantly manipulated and pressured Prisma, trying to reclaim control over her.

Eventually everyone united to confront Prismatic.

The problem was simple but devastating:

If Prismatic died, Prisma would die as well.

Yet allowing Prismatic to live would endanger countless others.

In the end, Prisma chose her own fate.

She sacrificed herself to destroy Prismatic once and for all.

After her death, Shadow kept her crystal with him and mourned deeply, as Prisma had reminded him of Maria.

The others remained together, honoring her memory and continuing forward as friends.

At the end the crystal had a little shimmer, showing that there was life. But was that Prisma or Prismatic? No one will ever be able to answer this question. ---
