Shane is probably chocolate chip cookie dough: something consistent. you can get different brands, and it’s usually gonna be pretty much the same across the board. vanilla can feel Safe, but the bites of cookie dough are fun and different textures and little pops of Excitement, and I think that very much feels like Shane: consistent, reliable, and within it all, he’s fun and surprising and has different sides to him once you get past the outer shell.

Ilya: I feel like he’s something with a salted swirl, like salted fudge or salted caramel or yknow the one Ben and Jerry’s with the crunchy pretzel swirl? something like that, something with that total contrast of flavor and texture: salty to the sweet, smooth to the rough. cause my boy is the definition of Both And. he’s both sides of the coin. and unless you know him and you’re familiar with the edges, you never know what you might get with each bite.
