Xie lian - INFP

Today I will show a similar thing between two Popular [Daddies .. Ahem] characters in the novel :

Jun Wu VS Hua Cheng

Let's go 😏

To compare to the character like this we need an obvious item mutual between them so we can show how similar or different they are so I choose Xie Lian as the best point we can start with.

The two sides of the same coin.

both of them have a position for Xie Lian but their intentions are different

- Jun Wu sees Xie Lian as the perfect one to take the Heavenly Martial Emperor after him.

- Hua Cheng sees Xie Lian as the god who is his slave.

if we see it from a deep way they both have a high position for Xie Lian but every one of them looks at the different side in Xie Lian.

- Jun Wu looks at how powerful Xie Lian is and how he can make use of this in his way.

- Hua Cheng also sees the power of Xie Lian but he didn't intend to use it he wants to protect him as he(Hua cheng) is his servant who will die for his master.

In fact the more you look at these two characters the more you see the same structure for the character but they ended with different principles.

both of them have the same positions but in the opposite way, one is the emperor of the gods the other is the ghost king.

the two of them have their own style and charisma. their style shows the power and the intelligence for both of them.

when I see this I know that I am dealing with the person and his opposite.

Why is Hua cheng is ISFP, not ISTP?

in fact, I can't get any reason to image Hua cheng as ISTP.

if you have a logical opinion you can write so we can discuss it with each other.

for me, I think Hua cheng is the perfect model to describe the ISFP, why?

the first thing that should come to your mind is why Hua cheng did all of this he became the demon king, have a very high position in the underground world, as a child participated in the war, and died.

why?

if he is a Ti [thinking] person he will have decisions based on pros and cons, and weigh logical consequences from an objective point of view.

and this is not the reason why Hua cheng does all of this because he is a Fi [feeling] person how to makes all his life for the one and only person Xie Lian.

when I judge Hua cheng I should start when he was young to see his true self and I just can't look at how he acts after 800 years because he will of course develop himself and in my point of view I think that he develops his te and that shows from his way he thinks or plan... I will discuss all of this in another post. stay tuned.

he thinks if he becomes powerful, rich, and has a high position .so that Xie Lian can accept him and accept his love for him.

I quite remember this sense when the villagers asked Xie Lian if he was taken then Hua cheng tell them he is in a relation

then after it, Xie lian told him that he lied to him so he tells him that he only loves the person and he still can tell him [ and he mentioned that this person is a very high standing person that he has no courage to face him his love ].

All this capability in art and creativity all in a very cool style is something that only we can see in ISFP's personality

his love for Xie lian isn't a gradual love we see a lot in a T [thinking] personality.

the are more reasons of course but I came up with the highlights reasons that he is ISFP.

The first character I will discuss today is: Xie Lian

on what basis do I know the MBTI of  the character ?

I see a lot of posts that tell that Xie Lian is INFJ which is one of the options I will never choose to describe this character there is a similar traits of course between the INFP and INFJ ,but there are points that you should consider when you try to know what type of person is in front of you.

for me, I don’t like to separate every trait by its letter for example if he cries a lot, he is F(Feeling) or he likes to go out so he is an E( extrovert ), because this is not a good way to understand the personality. what you do now is defined the personality in a superficially way that gives you the wrong understanding of the whole character.

for me, I understood how the character acts like and what was the reason that make he\she act like that then how this character will solve their problems or live with it .. etc then after this, I can judge what type of character are we having. this is the opposite way for what most do.

for example,

if I had a character that likes to go out the first thing I will say what for

is that person likes to go out to see nature and observe people from long distances and cool his/her mind in a small corner of the park?

how does he feel when he returns back to the home he has the energy or does he need to charge back?

all of this and I can't also tell if he is E or I because you should see more in him considering the rest of the aspects of personality.

let’s start 

when I first say INFPs the first image comes to the mind that they are cute, sensitive, and weak personality which lives in a tough world that they are so cute to handle.

if that is what you imagine I will excuse you to reset your thoughts again because INFP is one of the strongest, stablest, and powerful characters .

why xie lian is an infp ?

the character we deal with 

- was a prince before and ends to be a rubbish collector .

- was a beloved god for his race ends with all his race stable him with the sword 

- his mother and father commit suicide because for his point of view he was the reason 

- tried to commit suicide but didn’t work because he is a god .

- he got alone and lost in his own world trying to understand what just happened as an army walked on him with their feet 

all what we see and we can still see a smile on his face not a normal character can get to this stage after all what happen.

Xie Lian was a Introved diplomat man that can change another mind without having a good social connection in fact he is very awkward when it comes to dealing with people here we can see his introverted side. the first situation that popped into my mind was when I try to see how he communicate with others. I see the part when he goes to the bar and orders than when the waiter asks him to pay he just keeps searching for the money in his clothes then the garbage bag that makes the owner tells him that he doesn't want money. 

Xie Lian was a prince who don't have to deal with people. He only deals with the country's issues by his diplomat way.he can’t clear the misunderstanding between him and his friend because this need the person to say why he does this or to ask them clearly what makes them think that he doesn’t care for them (the situation is big also because both his friend are introverts) all this can’t be told with introverted way, because their will still be a misunderstanding 

that shows us that Xie Lian is an introvert but also a diplomat 

the introvert diplomats here are : [INFP - INFJ].

Xie Lian Feeling side ?

for INFPs they like to be feeling stable far away from your imagination they would do anything to be stable but there is the thing that shows in Xie Lian that he does want to be lonely that shows a lot when Hua cheng [san lang] shows in his life you will see how he get worried when he didn’t come back he was afraid he will be alone and lonely again.

but you can ask here why san lang [Hua cheng] because this person is having what exactly what Xie Lian wants  [not what you think you dirty mind 😏 ]

Hua Cheng is a very comfortable person when it comes to Xie Lian, not an angry person who shouts and picks a fight he is very simple and cool in his own way. this is a very good thing for Xie Lian he wants to be a person who makes him feel safe not a powerful person because he is the powerful one. 

reasons that he isn’t infj 

- here is one of the things that I will not consider that this person is not INFJ because when it comes to INFJ feeling they always choose a person that is very different from them if they are stable they will want a changeable person. They always follow their lover this is also a thing INFPs will not do because INFPs don’t like other to control their actions that show when Xie Lian even after he becomes again a popular god still collects the garbage and doesn’t always stay with Hua Cheng in his ghost town that a thing an INFJs will never do because they like to be with their lover whatever happens because they are very possessive.

Xie Lian isn't an organizer or a planner one at all

I could have begun with this point first but like i said i don’t like to see the character as litters so i have to clear some point to be able to see the character more deeply 

But how can be a god who likes to collect old stuff without planning where to go or what hour should he start work ... all of this should how he like to move freely without a plan he gets his own plan when the station comes this were the Perceiving Function start to work. 

we of course dealing with a P person as for me as ENTJ i can’t deal with a situation without having a plan and Xie Lian is exactly the opposite of this.

there is still a lot of things I didn’t mention about Xie Lian but I really take a lot of time to write this as my first time writing a long post like this it may be a little bit of unorganized review about the character I wish I also didn’t make a lot of grammar mistakes ...
