Since the beginning, I knew that my cats were gone, perished in the epidemic that had once spread in the village. My mum just didn't have the heart to tell the truth, as she knows how losing my cats will take a toll on me. And I didn't really want to ask, so she wouldn't worry bout my sanity. Yet, besides the tough facade, it hurts. It hurts so much losing my babies: the first cats I had ever seriously taken care of in my life. Even sadder when all that's left is this white guy. Clingier than ever now that he's orphaned. No more brother and sisters to enjoy their time together. But I'm glad. Our time may be short
