I'm actually stupid lol
"Chippin' in - fuckin' feel it, I'm real" - Kerry's version of chippin' in
I just got it.
It's Kerry admitting that even though he's not like Johnny, he's still fighting against the corporate machine in his own way. He knows he's not a one man army like Johnny was, so he can't take the fight to Arasaka literally. So he does it the way he knows, by being a rockerboy and keeping true to the style of music he was making with Johnny and Samurai. He's his own one man army, only with a guitar instead of a handgun. It's why he was so against Us Cracks, because he sees them as corporate plants, a group that's backed by corps or just doesn't care.
Also, the "Stand, don't feed the ghost within" is perfect too. He's telling himself not to give up, to not roll over and let the corps do whatever they want. But he's also telling himself not to be fully like Johnny, to not let it consume him and go off into a fight he can't win in a million years.
So he keeps going the way he can, with just a guitar and a dream he shared with Johnny once.
