Whenever I rewatch The last horror film there is one question that sticks with me; does Joe Spinell exist in this universe? Since they mention Taxi driver and the shooting of Ronald Reagan that occurred due to it, that film exists, and Joe does appear in it as the personnel officer. So does an actor that looks identical to Vinny exist in that universe? And if so does Joe go on to make Maniac, and does then either Caroline Munro or Jana Bates that plays Anna? Does 2 identical actresses exist then, just named either Jana or Caroline? Is this the same Cannes Film Festival when Joe walked around in a Maniac shirt promoting it?
