      ❝ what’d i do?? ❞  they asked in confusion on the snort that left the familiar. what was it they said that was so funny?? they were only trying to offer ideas to help him out in his current predicament! plus hoodies are comfortable! that’s a big win with that they feel!!

      ❝ hoodies are nice. ❞  plum comes back with to his reply. not yet seeing the humor in it all. maybe it was just the dense side of them really, but they truly fail to understand what was so funny. a sigh soon left the jeweler.  ❝ struggles… ❞  they mumble for a moment before thinking on their husband. soon to the bond of master and familiar.  ❝ i might ask on it later… but now i’m wondering on a thing; would the pact with chloe and cy also be like being married too? does it also mean you and leni are married? ❞

       “Don’t you think you’re thinking too hard on that?” Amusement still dances in ruby glance as the familiar places a hand on the younger man’s shoulder (really, he would like to pat Plum’s head but Anthony is aware that the gesture wouldn’t be welcome, so he settles for the next best thing). “I can take care of myself so don’t you worry too much for my sake” Specially when it isn’t something dangerous per say, only mildly inconvenient.

     well that sounds like a good plan.

     plum wishes it was that easy for them.

“ Oh! ” A mão livre fora encostada na própria bochecha. Velhão mesmo, mas o coelho não aparenta se importar com isso e até lhe deu uma boa explicação. “ E como você conheceu a Eleni? ”

“ Cuido do Mokona desde sempre, mas quero considerar como um animal silvestre que fui obrigado a criar. ” Falou alto que é para o dito cujo escutar e reclamar, porque Mokona comeu toda a comida sozinho e agora merece sofrer. “ Não sei, acho que eu deveria perguntar a ela primeiro. ” Manteve o tom divertido em sua voz.

        “Ah,  ký-- Digo, Mestre Aidoneus?” O coelho inclina a cabeça pensativo por um momento, já faz tanto tempo, mas Anthony sempre se lembraria daquele dia como se houvesse acontecido recentemente. “Eu estava sob os cuidados de Hécate na época. Ela é a deusa grega que, entre outras coisas, governa a magia” explicou “Na época a minha senhora tomou a jovem mestra como aprendiz e eu fui dado à ela. É uma prática comum que bruxas mais velhas repassem seus familiares aos seus protegidos, foi esse o meu caso.”

The toddler nods, understanding because his father always had to unlock the door when entering the convenience store. Told Akira that it prevented bad people from breaking into the store and stealing their money. 

Now, where did I put that key again? Akira raised a brow and looked around. Yeah. Where did he put it? Then he blinked as Anthony went down to his level and moved his hand over to his head and—— GASP. 

Akira’s eyes practically twinkled at this sorcery, completely struck with pure awe as he stares at the key and then over to Anthony. Was that…? Feeling very curious, Akira patted on the side of his head, fingers exploring to find what else was behind his ear. “——??” And he finds nothing; no keys, nothing of the sort, coming up empty-handed. How did he do that?

Akira had only one explanation. It was magic! “Again! Again!” 

        The excitement reflected in the toddler’s eyes only causes the familiar’s smile to brighten, Akira was such a good child that Anthony couldn’t help himself -- he just wanted to be sure he’d always have a smile on his face, be it because of silly antics or something else (in this case a sleight of hand). 

        So if the child wanted to see magic again, the white rabbit will surely comply. The door wasn’t going anywhere anyway, he’ll unlock it after indulging his little friend.

        “Alright then. I want you to watch it very closely, alright?” He asks having the object on the palm of his open hand before his fingers close around it. “You saw the key on my hand, right?” Still kneeling down Anthony asks if only to interact with the child a bit more before opening his hand, a butterfly opening its wings where once the key was.

Picks up Anthony and gives him the biggest of hugs!!! And a smooch on the top of the head for good measure.

“ Anthony, você é tudo isso de velho? ” Quis saber, por pura curiosidade. “ Casamento quer dizer filhos e já temos o Mokona que é quase a mesma coisa só que pior, como iriamos aguentar tanta dor de cabeça? ” Brincou. A mão foi parar entre as orelhas do coelho, onde deu um breve afago enquanto ouvia a voz fininha no fundo gritando: “Watanuki não é justo, Mokona é Mokona! Mais sakêeee!”

“ Mas se fossem como você, eu não me importaria. ”

        —  Eu fui criado no que vocês considerariam o período mitológico. Logo após a guerra contra os Titãs quando a humanidade começou seus primeiros passos nos estudos da magia!  — Ou seja, ele é muito velho. E tendo testemunhado a história quase inteira daquele mundo (e de outros até), o velho familiar não consegue não chamar os jovens (a seu ver) feiticeiros de crianças.
