If you had to choose,
would you choose a dope ass, beautiful house, everything new, lots of room for friends and fam to come stay, with a nice backyard for your puppy, only 15 min from work BUT in a boring suburban, not fun area, OR an ok condo, p small, no private outdoor space, 45 min from work, but in a great city on the water with lots to do?! I love to love my house, but I also love living in a city with lots of people around and stuff going on, and I’m used to walking Pups anyway, we have a yard now but still walk him 5-6 times a day. We are going crazy trying to decide!
def the first imo, 45 min from work is a lot to be doing everyday or even a few times a week, returning from work would be even worse. and tbh i had this problem when deciding where to stay in London as the first year i stayed in a pretty expensive place, small as well, but in the middle of the city where everything was happening but now I live in a much larger house, it’s pretty perf and it’s on the outskirts so I have room to breathe as well. thing about a metropolis like NYC is that being in the center is so easy bc of public transport but sometimes you kind of want to get out of all this buzz and just relax and breathe, so I’d def. recommend the first :)))
