I’m late Tio… but when am I not?! Lol. Two years later and it’s not the same. As much as I try to believe you’re riding cross country on your Harley or that your at Home Depot when I pull up to Grammy’s, it doesn’t work. But thank you. Thank you for loving us so much that not a day goes by that we don’t think about you or laugh at a memory you made with us. Thank you for telling me all of your stories and for loving my babies and Age. For being there for us and for making us laugh and cry and for being there for the us when mija needed a quick oil check or washing ages car when we’d leave it for the weekend. Little things. I’m still fighting, and we’re all okay right now. Keep watching over all these kids and stay close to grammy and dad and Tia because they miss you the most. I love you Tio Ernie! I can’t even tell you how proud I am of my @joselina.romero . This girl has worked so hard to get here. All four universities she applied to, she was accepted to! My heart is in awe and I am in tears. My baby girl did it, all while working a full time job and through the epidemic… she did it! And this is her first choice. What a week… why they decided to have my place painted the week of Family day, I will never know. But… I will say, it was fun. Spent extra time at Grammys and the kids got some extra cousin time and my Dad got to see his grandkids all week and he loved it. Even got some extra family time in with some breakfast together. And after everything, this place looked like we just moved in… it’s now starting to come together again. At least I got to get rid of shit I didn’t need and put things away that were clutter. But my check out my special shelf… that baby is beautiful. Lol! Day by day… that’s how life’s been for me lately. Semesters almost done. Holidays are coming. 3:00 am… and my house is quiet, everyone’s asleep. I took a moment to look out my window for a bit. Appreciating the fact that I’m still here. Feeling the cold breeze and hearing the rain comforts me. My heart has been heavy because all I do is worry about my kids and bubba.
