16th of July, 2015. Something out of EB’s control happened. Somewhere along the Kalye of Brgy. New Kababae, Olongapo City, the camera captured an uncontrollable “kilig” of a lady when she saw a prepossessing man watching her. It is fortunate that Ms. Allan K noticed how conscious the girl was and what happened next is the start of our history. This respected EB host started teasing the girl and yes, everyone started to join. Alden initiates the wave, but Maine, our girl, was the one to introduce the “pabebe wave”. It all started as a joke, obviously. Who would have thought that for the next days, these two will gather fans all over the nation? No one. No one even thought of having them as a loveteam. They have their own segments, Maine for JFA and Alden for TMB. But faith, (or maybe God) has another plan. Someone up there pulled their strings together. Someone up there aligned everything and made a PHENOMENAL LOVETEAM.
Two months, that’s a brief time for a love team to create such achievement. But, did we question that? NO. Did we try to hate them? NO. Because there is nothing to loathe about. They’re giving us our dose of good vibes every single day (Yes, that includes Sunday). They are trying to embed life lessons in our hearts, and we are starting to internalize those now.
Tamang panahon; There is a right time for everything, and this serye proves that. The actual first split-screen contact of Maine and Alden happened at the right time, in the right moment. No script included. Hindi pinilit.
Lahat ng bagay, pinaghihirapan; Obviously, yes. I mean, you can’t get something you want in a snap, no. That’s not how life works. You have to work hard to get the things you once dreamed. Trial and error. Try and try.. and try until you get the results you want. But never, ever use someone’s potential and take it as your own. Don’t do that.
Ang pag-ibig ay nararamdaman, hindi binibili. Ipinaglalaban, iniingatan at ipinagkakaloob sa tamang panahon; Well, the sentence speaks for itself. NOT EVERYTHING CAN BE BOUGHT WITH MONEY. Especially love, appreciation and trust.
Sa pag-ibig walang malalim na dagat. Sa pag-ibig walang malayong landas; Indeed. Distance cannot measure love, especially when it’s real. And if it’s love, you know you’d do anything. No questions asked.
Ang tunay na pag-ibig, kahit hindi kayo magkapiling nararamdaman. Ang tunay na pag-ibig, kahit hindi nagkikita, pinapahalagahan at iniisip ang isat-isa! Iniisip ang kabutihan! At hinihintay ang tamang panahon; As with what’s written above, distance is just a test to see how far love can go. Cheers to the LDR couples!
Ang inggit ay kalawang na sisira sa iyong pagkatao; Focus on you what have, never ever be obsess with other person’s blessing. That will do you no good. It’s like eating junk foods and expecting the other person to get fat. Turn envy into motivation.
When someone else’s happiness is your happiness, Iba na ‘yan; This is form yesterday’s episode. Remember how Alden seemed so happy even when he lost the competition? If seeing her happy makes you happy, that means you care. That means somewhere deep down your hypothalamus, you love this person.
THOSE ARE JUST FEW OF THE LESSONS WE LEARNED FROM KALYESERYE. ANOTHER WILL BE ADDED EVERY DAY. Thank you, EB! Thank you, God for giving us Maine and Alden!
