I do wanna get back into RP'ing on Tumblr, but the only thing is I keep on feeling inadequate every time I make a come back and end up leaving the RP scene again, where as with D&D I've never felt that inadequacy and have always felt better about myself if anything.

I'm torn about whether or not to give it another try, because I do love my muses and would like to interact with them, but am afraid of that inadequacy sneaking in again and putting a damper on my mood and mental well-being.

I keep making myself sad when I look at the reviews for things on amazon for things sold for betta fish and see people posting photographs of their betta in totally inapropriate living conditions like a vase or tiny bowl X_X

Like just now I was looking at betta pellets, scroll down to see what people had said about it and see photographs of betta in cloudy water in tiny bowls with people totally oblivious to how depressed their betta looks like "Mr Bubbles loves this food" photo of Mr Bubbles laying on the floor of his bowl.

Please don't put betta fish in tiny bowls with no filteration D:

They really do live much longer and happier if you put em in a tank they can actually swim in with a filter and heater. Bonus points for live plants.

After 25 years I finally got my bird back!!!!!

My mum got me this bird when I was a kid, I was obsessed with parrots and she eventually got an African Gray.

Unfortunately a few years later her and my dad got divorced. My dad wouldn't keep it and my mum had nowhere to go so she gave the parrot to a friend to look after just until she got sorted out with stable accommodation, except after my mum got sorted out and moved into a new place where she could have the bird back her friend who was looking after the bird wouldn't give her back, and has refused for over 20 years to give back the parrot!

Now finally after a mutual friend went in and saw the state he'd let her get into and threatened him about it he's finally given her back!!! And I'm not happy 1: about him keeping my bird for so long and 2: neglecting her! Poor thing reportedly had maggots in her cage, no toys and wasn't allowed out of her cage because of his dogs.

First thing I did when I got her back was open her cage and allow her to start getting her confidence back to come out. The cage is where her food goes and where she sleeps, it's not supposed to be where she exists 100% of the time ]=< he's given the poor thing anxiety!

I got the job ^-^

I have a duel contract between 2 stores so I have a total of 16 hours (with potential overtime available).

It's not much but it's a start :) I can at least start trying to save up now. (Or try to XD)
