I will try to get some pictures this evening as the sun goes down of my projects I have been working on and of the new yarn I've bought.

I have some color idea for other ones including changing up the spike stitch and maybe doing the spike stitches in a different color to the stripes. we'll see what I come up with.

(Note: For those who'd like to know what I could provide other then completed projects. I have four more balls of the Ozark Forest yarn. I can do two scarfs any type or four hats depending on what a person would like. Scarf takes a day and a half to make. Hat takes a couple hours. I have an Alpaca blend yarn for hats [brown, olive green] that I can do for hats and two purple skeins for a scarf at same price as above scarves. I have two balls of a green/white ombre yarn that I can do two matching dishcloths with. I also have a camo colored bamboo yarn that I can do one hat with for 20 bucks.)

As for projects I'm currently working on a scarf made from some 100 percent merino wool that was hand dyed down in Chile using a hand painting method. The yarn is called Araucania and it is their Panguipulli yarn. The colors are a brown-green-red ombre with a bit of black spun in to make a tweed like striping to it. I'm absolutely loving it as it's working up nicely. Though it's a bit of a smaller worsted weight then what I'm use to using it's going to make an absolutely lovely and warm scarf. I'll try to get a nice picture of the scarf when it is done. Though I fear I won't get a picture of my last hank of this color as I plan on trying to get it ready to use for crocheting tonight if I get around to it. If not then I'll get a picture of it tomorrow. So there we go!

I also thought I'd be goofy and post my er...photo studio. Yes I use the back side of my car with a cloth draped on it for a back drop. It works some times other times it doesn't. I need to find something better.

Yeah the sun went down a bit to quickly and these photo's are a little blurry but this is a little amigurumi elephant I've been working on. I need to finish sewing and stuffing the legs on it but it's about 95% done and might be looking for a new home eventually. The last picture there is just a size comparison using my camera lens cover. I love doing amigurumi and this is why I learned how to crochet to begin with.

Granny square dish cloths made with 100 percent cotton yarn. They hold up wonderfully well to do dishes and are quick and cheap to make. One ball of yarn makes one dishcloth. with some left over. These suckers take about two to three hours to make. So I can get them done quickly. If I ever sell these I'll probably sell them in four packs or something like that. Maybe even a small mix and match as well.

Purple Tweed Stripe Yarn. Another of my tweed stripe yarns this one is almost 6 feet long. I basically used a total of two balls of yarn until there was nothing left. It came out absolutely wonderful and I don't know if I will be selling this one or not. Done the same with my other flat scarves

Yarn dice bag. A pound of dice barely fills it. I think in total it would hold about four pounds of Dice. I made it with some more cheap Red Heart yarn and I love how the colors came out. Might make some other ones to sell.

Yarn catch bag the solution to floppy yarn skeins. Yeah while doing the fall stripe scarf I got really annoyed by the floppy skeins and trying to move them around to untangle the yarn. So I came up with the yarn catch bag off the top of my head. The idea is either you can put a floppy skein of yarn that's currently attached to a project into the bag and tie it up and keep going or like this project in the picture put the yarn into the bag and pull your useable end through the bottom and start your project. The unfinished project is actually another yarn catch bag and I'm absolutely loving how the colors have came out.

Woodlands Tweed Stripe Hat. I made this hat off the top of my head. Would fit a small child or adults head. I might try my had at making a hat from scratch again but this one just didn't quite work. Also the colors are a little brighter in real life the Styrofoam wig head is detracting from the colors some.

Fall stripe scarf. I'm loving this scarf. Granted I'm making it out of a cheaper yarn but it's looking wonderful. It will end when I get done with the yarn and I'm going to put tassels on the end of it. I'm thinking of doing another version of this scarf in these colors but doing crows foot stitches instead of drops and doing them in a brick red color. I have to fix one side of the scarf since it sadly has a bit of a slope to it due to the color change going down one side of it.

Ozark Tweed Stripe ruffled scarf and sock hat set. The scarf didn't come out like it should have. It should have been about an inch wider but it will still make a nice little fashion scarf and is long enough to wrap around your neck a couple times. I have three more balls of this yarn. I'm going to do another of my flat scarves and a sock hat.

There's is also a matching hat for this scarf if a person is interested. The hat can fit a 20" head.

So I did this yarn inspired rant over on my other page. It's more a ranting at a particular large chain hobby store that is the ONLY true hobby store in the area and something I've noticed they have been doing with their products. Read if you want but just so you all know. I'm going to have to increase the price of some of my products because my yarn supply has started to dry up for my favorite name brand yarns and I'm not a fan of the store branded yarns.
