Separation from self Into solitude it delves Mistaken for beauty, it deceived Bleeding codependency, becoming bereaved Surrounded by doubt, defeated Scars open afterwards, blood depleted Running away, looking back into past Regretting inability to function, being uncast Deciphering their faces, discovering your shadow Gasping for breath, anticipation you bestow But revelation befalls to your darkness It crumbled, closing your openheartedness Realizing how alone you are Reaching the edge, gazing afar Doubt closes in, you dive Swimming to hope, arduous to survive Hopelessly emerging on land Reaching out for your hand Falling into nothingness, back into existence Yet still I feel the distance Why?

The inability to communicate, selective isolation Welcoming others in, leading to desolation Betrayal, loneliness Obscured friendliness, only to miss Emptiness in-hand, traversing without bliss Introduction, optimism Greeting from good intention, met with pacifism Foolish to believe, proving altruism Disbelief, destruction Silence echoing, voices of dysfunction Safer to stay away, but tempted by obstruction Wonder, fascinated Stirring inside, amity being alienated Dispersing out, only to be confiscated Wanting, fear Abjured by you, never to reappear Into fog, I disappear Sorry.
