The Golden Rule

My journey has come to a turning point. I've been lost for so long, wondering if there was something wrong with me, if it was other people, trying to find myself in religion but unsure about which religion should I follow, which one was right. Totally and completely confused and depressed. I found a book that although others may criticize, it really spoke to me and helped me to understand that I don't have to follow a hierarchy that man set forth for me to follow. The truth is there is no right religion. Religion is an institution created by man. Spirituality and relationship with God, or Goddess if you prefer, comes from love. Your relationship with God will spread love throughout your life to your spouse, children, family, friends and even strangers. 

The book is called "The Shack" by William P. Young, this book might give you a new perspective on your own beliefs. It finally gave me the freedom to create my own spirituality instead of using something someone else created to create power over others and independence from God. I'd like to share a few quotes...
