100 pounds. I've lost 100 pounds. Amazing.

I'm a medium. Holy crap.

That figure on the left was my starting point: 257 pounds and 39.1 BMI The figure on the right is where I am now: 161 pounds and 24.5 BMI I've lost almost 100 pounds. I've given away or sold all my old clothes. Today, I tucked-in my shirt and wore a belt on the smallest setting. Losing the weight didn't make me instantly happy, but it has been a catalyst for a lot of very positive change.

This is a big damn deal.

Holy crap. I'm 10 pounds from my calculated "ideal weight." I never thought that was in any way attainable. I thought 175 would be a stretch. And that's ten pounds in my rear-view mirror. This is unreal.

This is it. When I log in to this app the next time, I will no longer be overweight. Those colorful stripes in the chart stand for things. Salmon at the top is morbidly obese. Peach is obese. Yellow is overweight. Green is healthy weight. I'm at the border, ready to set foot into a healthy weight for the first time in my adult life. It took almost exactly 1.5 years to lose nearly 100 pounds. This is almost paralyzingly momentous.

45 pounds + 45 pounds = 90 pounds Imagine carrying those two bars around with you everyday. Up and down the stairs. To the bathroom. Into the closet. In and out of your car. Up from and into your desk chair. I can't tell you what a difference it makes in dressing rooms. On staircases. On airplanes. I'm so grateful.
